ikr 😂😂😂😂 freaking hilarious
ah i see, what is their issues with it ?
Yess 😂. Well they feel like they won't be able to endure the possibility of things not being clean due to hair or other things and I don't know what having a cat is like, lol
ah, yeah.
itd definitely be more unclean cause cats like to go everywhere if you dont train them consistently all the time... and even then lmao ;'D.
if they're not into cat hair and cat butts, paws they've had in the litter tray etc on tables and furniture it could be an issue... also the catballs they throw up, which has a bit of fluid in them as well... a lot of cats also love to find their way into closets and drawers if theyre able to... really gotta get those hairs on all of them clothes... very important part of catlife X'D
also getting a cat sometimes getting stuff scratched like furniture can be very difficult to avoid for some. depends on training, stimulation, attention and exercise they get etc. and ofc plenty of scratching places around the house so they feel like its their territory (and that they can mark it and can get the scent on it).
if youre also not sure if people around you would be able to not nag, yell or treat the cat nicely when it does "bad stuff" like defecating, peeing where it shouldnt if its sick or under some sort of stress, scratches stuff its not allowed to, does things its not allowed to... it wouldnt be very enjoyable either and not good for the cat. Some people dont know this but yelling and lecturering at animals doesnt teach them to not do things... in some instances it might even feel like a reward to some animals because they get attention from people when they do it... which then inforces the behaviour youd like to decrease in your cat...making the owners all clueless as to why their cat keeps doing stuff its not allowed to do ;)... yelling and lecturering cats just aint what works... since somehow cats dont actually speak human...which can be a bit surprising to some humans X'D.
taking care of cats is a lot of work especially indoors. which is ethically the best for native wildlife and if you live in a place with cars, other dangers to cats for the cat as well. they need a lot of stimuli and they can get bored easily. so they often need a lot of attention. and theres also the issue of getting them to drink enough water and keeping taps on that, their food, that they dont eat too much or too little, body + teeth condition, trimming their nails (and being allowed to touch them in these places by them), having the time and patience to learn them things continually and very slowly one step at a time also with setbacks, brushing their teeth, toilet habbits and how is it (nom i know), cleaning and disinfecting the entire litter tray often, mental training, vaccines, insurance, exercise, bathing them if they need it (being able to maybe even training it with some though preferably they should not be bathed at all ofc, but sometimes it might be needed to get something off their fur or something you know), doctor visits (being able to get them into a pet carrier and not make doctor visits traumatic to them), making spots in the home for scratching, relaxing and running around, making your house catsafe etc.
but they are lovely uwu
giving them a playbuddy / getting two or more cats that are used to eachother and like eachother, depending on how much space you have ofc, might be a good idea for a lot of people too, to lessen their boredom a little bit but they still need lots of attention / stimuli / games for them to do and you cant just let them do the same all the time they will get bored by that. some cats might not be just as cuddly with humans as well if they have a cat buddy though, but it differs ofc.
I personally walked my cat on leash with a harness, but if you first start doing that with your cat you will have to continue doing it because they get a taste of it and will miss it greatly, the ourdoors if you dont.. i dont know if having a catio is possible for you ofc XD... if you have a balcony you could also make that a great place for your cat to get a bit of fresh air and feeling of the outdoors, if you make it catsafe first ofc cats dont always fall on their feet in spite of what everyone likes to think.
if you do get permission id try out with maybe be a volunteer for a rescue center first and be a catsitter for them to try out having a cat at home or be a cat sitter for someone who needs one and see how it goes for a decent amount of time. Its a shame to first get one and then feeling like it was a mistake and have to rehome it (which is not nice for the cat either).
do you think youd want a kitten, an adult or older cat where people know their personality and habbits already ? kittens and adults can take loooots of energy.
if you want a kitten remember to first get it/them after theyve been with their mother for at least 12-13 weeks, developmentally thats the best for the cat, to not be taken away too soon so theyve learned all the proper cat behaviours and stuff.

being neutered is also really important for their mental health and if you do let them run free to not get them pregnant or breeding with other cats in the wild escalating the problem of stray cats and kittens in the wild, ruining wildlife even more and ofc the life of the kittens and cats that dont get taken cared of as they should spreading diseases etc amongst themselves and then also continiueing to breed out of control in the wild.
after all that you can get to focus on their cuteness and the good stuff ,w, X''D
also i highly recommend watching Jackson Galaxy videos, you can learn a lot from him, hes awesome.
he has a lot of great videos with good advice and information.
