| Why are we having this reunion as early as episode 5? From an out-of-universe perspective, we've not seen Elaina travelling for very long at all and it's only been a few episodes since we last saw Fran. I feel like an episode like this would have been better (or at least made more sense) towards the end, say as the second-to-last episode before a finale where Elaina goes home or something. That way, it would feel to the viewer like Elaina has actually been travelling for a long time and that her and Fran have been apart for a while: just having Elaina say "it's been years" doesn't make it feel like such, especially when Elaina is such a static character. |

| After a bunch of stories with a tinge of darkness, it was nice having an innocent reunion with Fran again. The fact that Fran has a merchline is kinda funny tho |
| Suddenly it was very calm episode. And t was nice to see mommy witch sensei again. So in general this episode was very calm and pleasant, but a bit boring... yeah, i liked previous dark and cruel episodes more. But in contrast such friendly episode looks good and suits the story good. |
| Finally, a lighthearted episode! Oh, it's only the halfway point? That's not a good sign... |
