Man this hurts, I have no idea what I'd do if I were in Esemori's shoes, Yuko is clearly a victim but it must hurt like hell.

Yuko looks like she just lost her virginity over this unknown middle-aged man MAYBE, not gonna lie I expected a lot worse than this. Yeah I would run away if I were in Esemori's position, no more other option.

who knows if they really did it since there were no sounds of them doing it, but for some reason, the way she dressed on the final panel might be true(maybe)

I don't think she lost her virginity there, I believe this is something that happened frequently and everyone in town knew about it. Remember how Esemori's mom talked about Yuko when she went to his place? Remember how Chako's father said that Renji was a good boy but his mom was no good and how he said that Renji's family is a desease? Remember how Uryu said that if Esemori can't protect Yuko he should back off? Remember that night that she talked with Esemori with a black eye and said that she wasn't safe in the bar anymore?
Yuko's mother was selling herself in that same bar to pay her husband's gambling debts and I believe either by herself or with the support of her husband she was trying to force Yuko to do the same but Yuko refused because she loved Esemori but when he basically said that he didn't care about her anymore she stopped resisting.

I appreciate that you actually have a lot of insight and I'm aware this is a work of fiction but if you think of it in real life, this is something that would be really terrifying if you were the one to witness your bf/friend/gf in that type of state and an unknown stranger whom you never met getting outside of their house and people would get a different impression in the end so calling Yuko or anyone else a virgin or not is up to you but this series has pretty much got a lot of things going on that brings those tensions and it's already expected lol

Even though it felt like yuko was a victim here herself I feel bad for esemori too imagining his love sleeping with another man(if she really slept which looks obvious seeing last panel) so yeah even I would have ran off from there

I don't think Uryu was old enough when he died to be the father

Not that bitch. I mean Kurose father. At first I thought it was Esemori, until I saw Uryu.
