| Sheesh what a first ep. Only start I’ve seen that was as strong as this in recent times would be gachiakuta. Great potential, let’s just hope they can keep the quality up and sales do fine so they don’t get cancelled. Twist at the end was kinda weird and I shipped them at first so would be sad to see. Would’ve preferred no yuri but his sister seems nice so I’ll let it slide. |
| I don't remember the last time a series hooked me this much right away, great first chapter, interested in how the author will handle with the hitman-romance combination, this manga seems to be the type that's not afraid of the unconventional, which is my favorite type! The art and characters seem really good, loved the bug guy, i want more of him. We also don't know yet if the swindler is just gonna help Gero get with someone or if things are gonna set them up as a couple later on, so i'm curious about that. Hopefully people won't focus too much on just the end twist that they forget everything that happened in the chapter and judge the whole thing just by that single page, as it really isn't that much of a big deal. |
| Would be real cool if they really went THAT route, it's pretty much unheard of in Jump+ besides one other series. Jump+ has definitely been experimenting with more progressive themes in their serialisations which is great, and they already have fantastic chemistry so far. |
| Because twist came out of nowhere and can be interpreted in many different ways, for this chapter I will call Kinosaki "her" for simplicity. Overall interesting series, I really like first chapter. Bug guy will definitely be wholesome part of this series and twist made everything more interesting... I was expecting semi-traditional romance story, like she will help him find love but in the end she was that love, it can still happen but then what about heir part? There is always option of adoption, in vitro fertilization or just impregnation without marrige. Also Kinosaki wasn't lying about Gero "looking like her first love" because she appeared in page 9 to 11... nice foreshadowing lol For me this chapter was like You had my curiosity, but now you have my attention @StrawHat228 Unfortunately I already saw people saying about dropping this series because of last page. Considering the "female" character has different hair style and color between the cover on Jump+ and the first chapter , and how the main character's request went from "marry me" to "help me get married", I don't think it was a joke. Well in Red Hood MC girl changes hair color in span of one page so there can be a chance of author changing design and in the end Kinosaki could be changing her appearance because of being marriage swindler. Also Gero changed his attitude because he knows he cannot force her to marry him. |
