| Don't you love it when the useless character randomly has the ability to counter op gravity magic and then becomes an op shrink analyzing the bad guy mid combat? No? Oh okay... At least harem God Naofumi has the nice laser shield now so he won't have to use that meany hatred shield anymore! |
| A few criticism on this episode. First is Fitoria's size which looked like she's just as huge as Filo when in S1, she's like 10x Filo's size. Next is Rishia's sudden growth through emotion. While I agree that her ki manipulation has something to do with it, it just looked out of nowhere and was not showcased on the prev eps. I don't dislike her change and badass moment but it was just meh to see a character's sudden burst of change just because of drama. While there were a few opportunities to mention, I loved the timing of the soundtracks on this ep. It really sets the mood to hype. But given those few cons, wasn't able to enjoy it fully. |

| ok haha weird arc overall. This episode was interesting at least Kyo set a multi layered trap, flattened our Shield Hero party, but Rysha is immune to gravity and powers up to unknown heights. Ost already said that she better should be killed in episode 01, but no one listened. So it only took 1000 of soldiers died for nothing. |

| From boring and mundane episodes to a nonsensical ridiculous finale of an arc. Can this get any lower? Easily the most disappointing sequel I've watched so far. I have no expectations for this series from here on. |

| This was probably the strongest episode of the season, so far. Hopefully things will get more interesting now that this arc is over and they're venturing into "another" another world. I'm still confused about what the nature of the Spirit Tortoise Heart Shield is though. It just showed up and fired a massive beam? I don't know if they plan to explain it more here in the future, or if it was just omitted from the anime; as others have mentioned that the Spirit Tortoise Arc was rushed. |

| So a weak-ass character suddenly overpowers 7 Heroes with cardinal weapons with the power of will cuz she decided she is not weak anymore? make sense 25/10 story writing, also the best villain introduced in anime history, with the greatest dialogues ever in anime history. well, that's a Drop for me. |

| Definitely the best ep this season so far. Still felt off. Way too many "BUT NOW... THIS" moments from the glasses guy villain who best I can tell so far is being evil just because. Considering all the changes they've supposedly made from the LN so far, I don't see why they couldn't have cleaned this up, if they didn't actually make it worse, can't say personally. Script felt off too. That or the actors were really phoning it in at the start of the ep. Got better once stuff started popping off. The reused sax track really didn't fit imo. Feel like there's way too many unanswered world building and rules questions to feel like whats happening is important. Citrus must have loaned out their A team, that's all I can think of, we know what they're capable of. Man I really hope they can reel it back in for the rest of the cour. |

| As I expected from the opening scenes the other Heroes are confirmed captured and now used as power source (the friggin' idiots!) ...and suddenly Rishia had her 15 minutes of redemption, our token villain fled to his own world pursued by his fellows and our Shield Hero with his nakama leaving Ost behind to kick the bucket while modifying the Hero's restriction to enter another world before she croak, and I hope she get reincarnated as their/somebody else nakama next time. |

| Finally, this turtle nonsense is over. I hope the show picks up after this. I liked the first season, but this has been such a drag. I couldn't care less about the turtle familiar lady. It felt absurd to have all the main characters sobbing over her. |

| So in about 15 minutes Rishia's was able to control Ki enough to surpass a God Tortoise's powers and Naofumi? I mean either I understood it wrong and the show had been hiding Rishia's ability with Ki, cus shes been side-lined so much, that my interpretation made it out to be she was still a novice at it, or they gave her some serious plot Armor and a power boost. Just me or has Naofumi lost his roots and edge? It seems like they've really nerfed him to a degree as well as changed his personality a lot. Like what happened to the Naofumi that would swap shields constantly and push himself to the max now getting stepped on by an antag while a side character with plot armour saves everyone? The rage shield also not working was sad, ik they probably used it to show Naofumi has turned into a more emotional character, but i mean all the shit he went through in s1 was some pretty heavy shit that i don't think is gonna be fixed with tape, all the shit Naofumi had to go through can literally be reflected in the rage and wrath shield, and them saying "nah it don't work like that anymore" feels like they're saying "nah Naofumi's over all the hardship he had to do in s1, lets not even have him master the rage shield and instead just give him a cool god shield and wings and let him move onto becoming a basic isekai protag now." I'm not saying giving him more character is bad, i'm just saying that personally the reason i loved s1 and kept watching it was because of Naofumi's character then. Keeping it short, i liked the edge lord Naofumi that was betrayed, leading him to have trust issues, become his own man from the dirt up, getting framed by a whole nation and being constantly on the run, becoming an underdog and using his own means to win, immoral or not, was what kept me watching cus it was honestly what i thought passed as an "ok isekai revenge main protag", but i guess after my guy gets his revenge he also forgot about the pain and horror he had to go through to achieve it, and just kinda turns into a basic isekai mc with lots of powers and kinda edgy feel to him. But hay stuff changes i guess. Honestly the antag this ep was what kept me watching cus atleast he was funny "The three heroic stooges" is a nickname i'm gonna coin for the other three heroes. At least they also gave Ost a peaceful death and one that made made me feel bad for her as well. |
