here is how naration work in steel ball run the master piece if we can call it like this

step 1 there is a bigboss (funny valentine)
step 2 funny send some trash mob
step 3 gyro and johny fight those trash mob

I love Jojo, I love part 7, but yeah it's overrated in terms of it's rating.

Of course, it's not the first time a series has been rated too highly by the community so it's whatever at this point.

part 7's character design is currently my favorite and i love the setting and the progessivenss of the story

From what I gather, you didn't enjoy Part 7 that much because:
- You don't care about the relationship or banter between the two central protagonists, which led to you not caring or even recognizing their character development.
- You don't care about the minor antagonists.
- You don't care about the stands.
- You don't care about the fights.

I'm curious to know, what are your favorite Jojo parts?

I think a couple of your criticism falls flat, but for the most part, I understand where you're coming from. I find your complaints valid, and looking at a couple of the responses in this thread just seem to solidify them even more.

The reason why I made that last statement is because mostly everyone's positive points about the manga has nothing do with the negative points you mentioned. I see other people saying they love the story, the setting, etc. However, OP didn't complain about such things to begin with. Whatever the manga did right, was not enough to overcome what the manga did wrong for him.

Gave it a try and got 50 chapters in before the long pages nauseated me into giving up. It's literally the same crap we've seen in jojo for the 7th time

I have yet to read until Steel Ball Run but doesn't every Jojo's part follow a similiar narrative structure? Why didn't it bother you in the previous parts?

part 4 and 6 are different there still the trash mob thing but not as bad as this part and i loved 4 and 5 . i dont think part 1235 are great and it did bother me
