There are for sure people that still hate her. But I must admit that hating her, for being basically brainwashed, is pretty stupid. I never hated Gabi to begin with but I like her a lot more in this part. Her character development is pretty good imo.

minor spoilers for s4 p1

I don't really hate Gabi Per se her actions are justified and people think her story is like erens which I agree with but the main reason why people hate is She killed Sasha or just annoying, I honestly forgave her for killing her but she affects alot of people with her death and seeing her go through that is heart breaking because of the war does that to people and see didn't know how good of a person Sasha was and later she does regret it so that's why I don't hate her

actually i don't particularly hate her because since the beginning the spotlight was set on eldians and we never got to know about marleyan ,so we thought marleyans were the villains ....but it is not true ,gabi is just fighting for her nation just like eren is

I never really hated her.I mean it's war and killing is natural.I mean yeah fans got mad when she killed Sasha but it's natural.I even heard some fans sending death threats to her CV like WTF.I also heard in the manga Sasha died way way earlier

I never really hated her, i just found her annoying.

That said, just because she had some character development doesnt mean you cant hate her. Some people watch shows because of some characters that they really like, and if she killed that character for you then its understandable to hate her.

Sasha is in no way a better character. The only thing she was good for in the show is comic relief, which certainly doesn't fit in this last arc. Friendly reminder she was actually supposed to die in season 2.

This is one of THE dumbest things I've ever read from an aot "fan". You do realize the manga is over right? Not to mention in the short screen time she's been given her character has evolved more than 90% of characters in this entire series.

Well you were mistaken. She was a child who was brainwashed into thinking that in order to be a "good Eldian" she had to help Marley in war and fight for the nation. Since she has been exposed to actual Eldians, she has realized that her world view was completely fucked up and changed it. The people she killed or tried to kill she saw as enemies. She didn't kill anyone for "fun". She was also arrogant but she has also learned from that.

Loving your friends and family is no excuse to commit global genocide. If I had a family member who was willing to kill the entire world, including millions upon millions of innocent people just to "protect me" I wouldn't want anything to do with them.
