There’s only one arc lol. All of csm so far is the first arc. Arc 2 is starting this year

Same for me, I thought that Chainsaw Man was overall really consistent from beginning to end. Even mediocre parts like the bat devil arc still had great moments like the Power and Makima boob grabbing chapter.

Well due to how consistent csm is, I like each and every arc but if I have to choose, it would be the International assassin arc bcus santa claus in her

Gun Devil arc was by far the best arc, it was darker than others and Denji was not only fighting with his friend Aki but his own mind too. I know Control Devil was the final arc and that's why I don't like it that much, there was a grand finale which doesn't make much sense in many ways (no hate I love CSM).

Can't choose because all are great, but im looking forward to how they do the gun devil arc, because i was astonished reading it in the manga since it was soo detailed!

I would name it Part 2, there is also a manga who has like big arcs called parts which is to your eternity, it has like the part 1 which is the medieval times and then the part 2 is present time , I think it would be appropriate to call it a part

Doesn’t saga and part mean technically the same thing? If not, then what’s the difference?

honestly power best girl but the bomb girl arc was the most progressive and interesting in my opinion, otherwise I would have said control arc cause by far had the most entertaining story but I like power so obviously Its not my top choice...

Katana Devil arc is where CSM picks up. Shocking beginning, decent writing and emotional ending.

Reze arc takes that to a notch further with the storytelling that feels crazy but all too human.

International Assassin Arc was crazy too with the darkness devil parts and ending fight.

The Gun Devil arc is probably the best in the series, with the snowball fight and the crazy scales of power at display.

And the Control Devil arc which is the final one is about as good as the Gun Devil one with similar strengths.


So yeah, every arc after the first 3 is gold.

International Assassins Arc is peak CSM. Bomb Girl Arc was quite good too.

Easily the GUN DEVIL ARC

Main reason:

How it introduced the character in a very bizarre way and it's execution was so out of nowhere ,that no one can comprehend

The other arcs are very consistent and perfect but not close to the gun devil's other underworldly

If we want to judge it story structure wise, yes there are arcs that divides the full stories in the manga. It doesn't matter if it insist on it being on big arc, it can be separated into many different story sections which are arcs but I see where you're coming from
