| Demon Slayers breathe in a specific way to boost their physical skills and enables them to embed their Nichrin Blades with the type of breathing they do. This isn't simple as it requires training and Demons neither they have someone to teach them nor is it easy to learn. Several Demons find it a waste as they believe they are strong enough with their blood art. Others are simply brain dead. It's not they can't perform they just don't. Kokushibo and Upper Moon 6 (new one don't remember name) can perform breathing techniques and they also have blood arts. |

| Because the plot of demon slayer is nothing special and goes with generic shonen tropes. I guess it's only worth watching for the animation and execution, but the second season seems questionable. |

You have two kinds of protagonist, static and dynamic. The dynamic kind is the most common use, they are the type that changed throughout the story, most shounen about how the MC the best of something subscribe to this type of protagonist. The second type is the static kind, where rather than the world cahnged the MC, here it's the MC that changed the world (the plot, characters, the order of the world). This kind is less common but there are still example (Goku, Sherlock Holmes, Superman). It depend on what kind of story that you want to tell. In KnY, Tanjirou is a static protagonist that changed the world around him, mainly his interaction changed people around him like Zenitsu and Inosuke while he himself don't need to change. People who scream "MC lack character development" are usually people who just use internet buzzwords to criticize something they don't like without the slighest ideas what "character development" is. |
