I saw that the manga's rating is lower than the LN so I plan to read the LN and wanna know if the anime skipped any part in the LN. If not, pls tell me where I should start reading it.

I personally started from vol 2 (beginning of S2) but thats because vol 1 is more rare than diamond right now. But it is recommended to start from vol 1 for the worldbuilding and anju’s backstory.

I suggest reading from the start, it's worth it. The anime is fantastic, but it relies more on the visuals and symbolisms to tell a story, so not everyone notices those. Things will be a lot more detailed and in depth in the LN, so yeah I suggest you read from the start.

diamonds aren’t that rare they are only so expensive because of the demand of them. Theoritically if people quit buying them their price would drop tenfold due to lack of demand

definitely read from the start. there are some parts that they skipped in the anime though nothing major, but i still think its very worth it to go over. snd i just think it'll be nicer to know how ghe writing style is before jumping to the second volume

I read somewhere that author recommend to jump to the LN after watching season 2 of the anime.
I'm not sure if that's true. But I'm gonna do so. in the meantime, I started to buy the LN. And definitely gonna start from the beginning.

Imagine reading blobs and blobs of text walls. What a snoozefest. I would rather wait for anime.

It's recommended from the beginning because the anime skips some details and shit, also some world building and what not. The anime is a great adaptation but you can't 100% adapt a Light Novel. Also better get used to the author's writing style because it's more unique

The first cour did not adapt the epilogue of volume 1. That's because of the timeskip since A-1 is adapting volume 2 chronologically.

That's a polite way of saying "even if you dropped the Gran Mur on some peoples' head they wouldn't notice it"

86 has the best anime adaption. It just covered v1 for cour1 so majorly it covered almost all the stuff. Though some pars were left out . They will probably include later . It depends on you and your time management.

Hey thanks for all of the responses, I'm a bookworm anyway so starting from the beginning probably wouldn't be that hard for me lol

Start from the beginning. It's necessary for the base building and it's worth it.

Start from the beginning...but keep in mind that the anime adaptation is one of the rare instances where the adaptation might be superior to the source...

Can't say superior when it has its fair share of cons.

I would start from the beginning. The adaptation has done a great job so far but even the best LN adaptations leave some stuff out.

As for the manga, it's fine and adds more details to a couple scenes but it's not a huge priority for the publisher and AFAIK hasn't even finished where part 1 of the anime ended.
