Pretty sure he is dead at this point. It would be an overkill if he managed to stay alive after this. But there's probably a slight chance of him recovering from that..

Anyway, another emotional chapter. Flashbacks of the first days of Toman. We could see Baji and Chifuyu laughing together, Pah-chin sleeping while the rest are looking at the sun and then you have Mikey. Seems like his wish won't be able to come true..

Last 4 pages made my cry for the first time in this manga... it was so sad...

But this is making me think even more that the solution is going farther into the past and save Shinichiro in order to stop Mikey's loneliness (mentiones in this chapter's flashback), darkness and to save everyone else too in the process :_D

Like, the last panel is tricking us thinking that "he's finally with Emma" but I refuse to that. I want them alive, both of them! This isn't fair T_T

Seriously the author should just drop all of the takemichi time travel bullshit and focus on Mikey and Draken growing Toman and unifying Japan’s bosozoku gangs. Like in the flashback, wanting to conquer the country and make a new age of delinquents.

Takemichi can still be around as the voice of reason to keep those two in check and grounded when they take things too far, and they can be a trio with Hina and Emma too for romances. But damn, the whole time travel thing is leaving so many loop holes, the author is not doing it smartly like steins gate.

tbh he's prob still gonna live. ill fly to japan and beat up ken wakui if he took 3 chapters to kill draken ane spent it on flashbacks. ah the flashback for this ep was pretty nice tho, early toman era what a great sight, all just smiling and mf BAJI is there

Everyone is not smart and yeah tokyo revengers has so many plot holes now even if author try he can't fill the plot holes it is too late now.Steins;gate is seinen Tokyo revengers is shounen what do you expect , a shounen can't do the things like seinen there are some shows that are like seinen but those are special cases.

Fuck Mikey. Shoulda let his bitch ass be a criminal and just leave him be. Mikey was fucked in the head from the start and now because of his dumb ass decisions, yet another amazing character is killed off. Fuck this shit. Emma’s death hurt, but this one fucked me up.

Yes I’m ranting. The writing is extremely good and the story is incredible. I needed some where to vent my frustration so I chose this as my outlet. But seriously, I would take Draken and Emma over Mikey ANY day of the week and honestly now I don’t think any of this was worth it at all. I mean really… is making Mikey happy worth the death of even more people..?

Again I’m ranting because I’m pissed. Draken was such a well written character and so fucking vital to “Taka-mitchy” and his development and while I could understand the Emma death because of the arc, this is one I can’t understand. The whole point is pulling Mikey out of the Dark, but with yet another person close to him dying because of his misdeeds, is there really any hope for him? I don’t see it and personally I liked Mikey throughout this story up until the future was “saved” and he shot our boy.

Look at this point I don’t want time travel to magically make all this better because that would be lame as hell after making us suffer through these deaths but I definitely think Mikey needs to die. You’re absolutely welcome to disagree but he doesn’t deserve happiness at this point. I think a true final showdown between him and takemichi needs to happen and he needs to just be killed so everyone can move the fuck on. Either that or he needs to have one hell of a redemption arc. First he causes Hinata to die in the future and now Draken is permanently dead (unless they deus-ex this shit) and no matter how hard EVERYONE tried for his dumbass, he just says fuck everyone and chooses to be a criminal.

Anyways I love this story, you can tell from how emotional this made me, I’m not criticizing the mangaka for this, I’m just venting but man this has been such a phenomenal series and I seriously hope that Hina and Takemichi and Chifuyu (my fave character other than Draken) all survive this.

I’d love to discuss and if you wanna hate on me for my hate on Mikey then feel free, also this is again purely me ranting and voicing a frustrated opinion, by no means am I saying this manga is bad in any way.

(Btw Draken isn’t technically CONFIRMED dead, but the “I’m on my way” really alludes to it. If he survives, then most of what I said in this is still relevant, my opinion on Mikey won’t change regardless but just wanted to clear that up. I hope he lives but as a realist and with the way this story has went, I don’t see it happening.

Author took almost 2 whole chapter to saw us that Draken is dying ( that's why backstory are there) if now Draken didn't die all the backstory and they are showing would be waste.In the end only author knows how the story would turn out.

If this is the end for Draken, it’s hella underwhelming. He just went out just like that. At least with Baji, it was like the “end” of an arc in a battle and there was this whole thing with Mikey and Kazutora. Draken just got shot by some rando and died.

Exactly, I feel like if Draken’s actually dead, then the author really did make light of his death like what OP said in the above, getting whacked by some rando. Why is he so hell bent on killing off Draken? Like how is that supposed to make Mikey feel any better? The Mikey in the future would have said a big fat “I told you so!” to nosey Takemichi and regretted ever agreeing to his proposition in the 1st place.

i think that hanma being on last volume is going to the the trigger for multiple events in future chapters, where it is going to real dark since guns and prostitues are heavily involved(companies sponsoring the actions) in this arc, like when he was involved in mikey's sister death and i think there's some one in toman involved with hanma .....

Jesus, Hanagaki really fucked up by not staying in the latest future (what a sentence). I mean, Mikey wasn't even dead even though he probably was gonna die, everyone else had their shit sorted out and most important of all, Hina was alive and well.

I know he is a goody-two-shoes, but god that takes a fucking idiot to sacrifice an otherwise perfect future because some childhood hero keeps falling to his "dark impulses". Screw saving him after all that's been said and done, he surely had other ways to live without ruining himself and possibly others.

I feel story-wise this is done because we will do some sort of redeeming loop sometime that will save characters and most likely result in a sacrifice by Takemichi, such as his life or something a tad more interesting. Quite curious if Kisaki will affect his life in the coming chapters, since it would feel like a waste to just kill off his character like that.

I don't think someone who did not wait every week to see the manga knows how much emptiness exists now that Draken "died".

I like to post in manga forum when I feel it is worth it, so people will think. "Shit, is her again" or something.

People asked me where I read certain thing but the rules say no telling where did you read so maybe I am too boring for not saying? Or salty because you didn't check my profile that says don't ask because I hate people to ghost me after that. I love learning languages so maybe I did not read the manga in English.

I honestly don't think kenchin can be killed off so easily????????? There was an entire arc dedicated to saving him, the author just can't kill off an integral character like that.
But i'm getting the feeling kenchin really is dead. The point would be to get mikey back perhaps. But if kenchin is hospitalized, the same scenario would occur wouldn't it?
To begin with, we don't even know what killed kenchin, that's a very very pathetic death for such an important character. Sigh my heart sinks everytime i think about it, anyway have a good day everyone.

First, idk why I don't feel sad about Draken's death, I'm so easily cry over things like this but not this time, I even cried when Baji died, the character that i don't even attached to. Second, WHY?! WHY KEN WAKUI WHY DID YOU KILL HIM. He's not even killed by a proper character it's just some random Rokuhara dude and it's just took 3 chapters to kill him. I still wish that he survived tho because the damn war is not even started and we lose one of the most important character just like that. I won't feel happy if at the end Mikey is saved and live in the future without draken being there, I'm sure Takemichi feel the same.

God, I'm so excited to see what Mikey has to say to Takemichi after this.... something like this was exactly what he was trying to stop by cutting ties with Toman but Takemichi's inability to give up has in a way caused their closest friend to die.....
