Do you think Nike is Elaina's mother?

I had a looming suspicion that she is. After seeing the first part of episode 7 the witch who gave them the advice to write something on the wall has a hair similar to Elaina's mother and at Episode 5 timestamp 10:40 it also stated that Nike decided to live in the countryside as an ordinary woman. I tried to Google but cannot find anything. What do you guys think?

I don't have any solid proof for it, but I think Nike is Elaina's mother as well. I'm not aware if the light novel ever reveals it either.

After watching episode 7, I think it´s clear. She is very similar to her, almost her except her eyes are not shown. Her personality is aswell really similar and she had the same clothes and hat she gave Elaina for her trip. Also, if she is her mother, it would make sense the other theory that Nikeh formed Flan into being a witch, which is the reason Flan taught her that way and they had the same pin.

Also take a look at episode 5, where Flan is recognised as a great witch. In the final scene (i think it´s postcredit), Elaina is shown next to a cart that sells dolls, among them, Flan´s one and another one that looks just like Elaina. But Elaina of course is not as known as Flan, so it should be another famous one, who casually could have a travel book published just like Flan...

I first thought the same thing, but in the wall story, the villagers said that they met the witch 10 years ago, and if the witch was travelling at that point, then I doubt that she would be the mom of Elaina because in the episode, Elaina is way older 10. So I think it's rather her aunt or some other relative, but not her mom(most possibily, if there wasn't something really crazy that happened)

Elaina's mom and Nike have the same voice actress, so I wouldn't be surprised if they are one and the same.

I would say most likely yes. Fran hints to Elaina the apprentice witch in the adventures of Niche is her. So I'm guessing Elaina's mom is Fran's teacher.

Im just assuming Nike is Elaina from the future who traveled back in time who wrote stories to inspire her past self into becoming who she is since the stories she read as a child is currently similar things she is seeing

I just finished episode 5 and I'm sure that Niké is Elaine moms after her dialog with her teacher about the book.

If all of these are true, it's pretty much obvious that Nike, Victorica and Elaina's mother are the same person with different identities.

I thinks so because when fran asked elaina why she want to wandering around the world, fran said do you want to be a wandering witch because of your mother? But i forgot what episode it is lol.

I have compared a few pictures and Elaina looks as if she could be Nike's sister but I think it is her mother there eyes and hair that look the same and watching the episodes their voices are also the same. If you watch the episodes carefully you can also see that Nike and Elaina have the same personality. Does this evidence point to Nike being her mother also how would her mother know Mrs.Fran when miss fran is from another country???

I Found a Proof from episode 10 and 11 So At the 11th Episode Elaina Said The Antique Hall Have Revived huh? And then she confrims that Its From The Adventure of Nikeh Book Which Confirms Fran and Sheila's Teacher from episode 10 was Nikeh And in Episode 11 Fran Said "You Already Realized it right?Who My Master is." Which means Fran's Teacher is someone Elaina Already Know Before. For Additional At The End of Episode 11 Fran's Conversation with Elaina Describes About Her Teacher. (And i think Fran Said Those cause She IS Someone Elaina Know")

After watching episode 5, I already thought Nikeh is her mother and if not then I would be shocked because a decent number of clues dropped that episode. The anime-type storytelling makes it more obvious.

When Elaina visited the town of Royal Celestaria and met Fran-sensei again , they had a talk together. At that time Fran-sensei inquired why Elaina chose to be traveler and asked whether it was due to her mother's influence . This was the most obvious hint to Nike's identity. Many more indications were made in other episodes . In episode 10 we get to know that Fran-sensei and Sheila were apprentices of Nike. Nike is no doubt Elaina's mother ( u can even understand from their similar appearances) . Spoiler : Also i checked fandom , Nike or Victorica is Elaina's mother .

i think nike is elaina's mother and also the teacher of fran and sheila, look at episodes 1, 5, 7, and 10...episode 1 focuses on elaina's house, episode 5 (10:40), episode 7 focuses on nike, episode 10 (21:35) and focus on her house...
