Is there anything like Re:Zero ?

And I don´t mean anime or live action from Japan.

I mean live played show / movie. Not fantasy necessary, similar in any terms...
I didn´t find my answer googling

Thank You

In "Happy Death Day" and "Edge of Tomorrow" protagonists have exact same ability as Subaru.

I´m looking for something similar in terms of character driven story, character deep thriller drama.

I watched a lot of movies and tv shows during my life, but really almost nothing similar to Re:Zero and I don´t mean in terms of Subaru ability.

Only few shows and movies reminded me some episodes from Re:Zero.

TV Show: "12 monkeys" (2015) - great time travel show, with few great characters and their development

Movie: "The Sunset Limited" - this reminds me Rem - Subaru episode 18 where they do nothing just talking to each other all the time throughout the episode, in this movie 2 guys talk to each other in one room

TV Show: "Sense8" - characters mentally connected, character driven story, great concept, but careful there is a lot of LGBTI propaganda

As others have mentioned, great movies with the themes of living/repeating a day/time-frame are Groundhog day (a brilliant comedy with Bill Murray) and Edge of Tomorrow (an action/thriller with Tom Cruise).

If you enjoy thrillers that played with time/the viewers perception of events, you should really watch Christopher Nolan's films. Interstellar, Memento and Inception are some of my favourite blockbusters that play with this concept.

If it was more the relationship angle that enticed you with Re:Zero, I'd heavily recommend Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, a brilliant sci-fi drama involving a couple undergoing memory-correction procedures to erase eachother from their memories. It's really trippy and time/memories are distorted.

And lastly some violent fantasies that I loved are; Pan's Labrynth (don't want to spoil much about this film, just watch it. Genuinely one of my favourite movies of all time), hellboy and hellboy 2, blade and Army of Darkness (but watch the other 2 Evil Dead films first if you do, they are much more horror oriented, but army of darkness is a lot more light-hearted and has stronger fantasy themes)

Well kinda... not isekai by death but if you’ve read or watched the Chronicles of Narnia series, that’s basically being isekai’d. There are prolly a few others like that too.
The right mindset when watching an anime is hoping that it will break your top 10

Well that’s just not true. The term Isekai is japanese (異世界) and just means different World. Those are kanji, yes, but japanese and chinese are very different languages and isekai is clearly not chinese

There are plenty of things with the same trope. Ever heard of an action/fantasy. Hec I’m pretty sure a movie came out a few months ago at amc where the MC had powers like Subaru
