Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- (light novel)

| As others have mentioned, great movies with the themes of living/repeating a day/time-frame are Groundhog day (a brilliant comedy with Bill Murray) and Edge of Tomorrow (an action/thriller with Tom Cruise). If you enjoy thrillers that played with time/the viewers perception of events, you should really watch Christopher Nolan's films. Interstellar, Memento and Inception are some of my favourite blockbusters that play with this concept. If it was more the relationship angle that enticed you with Re:Zero, I'd heavily recommend Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, a brilliant sci-fi drama involving a couple undergoing memory-correction procedures to erase eachother from their memories. It's really trippy and time/memories are distorted. And lastly some violent fantasies that I loved are; Pan's Labrynth (don't want to spoil much about this film, just watch it. Genuinely one of my favourite movies of all time), hellboy and hellboy 2, blade and Army of Darkness (but watch the other 2 Evil Dead films first if you do, they are much more horror oriented, but army of darkness is a lot more light-hearted and has stronger fantasy themes) |

Those are kanji, yes, but japanese and chinese are very different languages and isekai is clearly not chinese |
