| The races in this were pure adrenaline, any scenes outside of said races I didn't care about tbh. The bioweapon and mafia stuff was just intrusive imo and got in the way of the real appeal of this, the hotblooded over the top racing. Them winning was kind of bullshit but it is what it is, this never trying to be serious anyways. Also the way it sort of just it ended there felt it bit too sudden but meh. Did I mention the OST in was killer because it was. Probably a low 8/10 for me. |

| Man, we'll never ever get a movie like this again will we ? It's not the most moving or well done but goddamn, could you imagine getting something like this outside of a Makoto Shinkai movie ? The amount of work and passion that went into this is astounding. I'm definitely buying a Blu-Ray if I ever get the chance. 8/10 for the animation. The story and characters aren't spectacular but whatever. |
| I was amazed by the races, and there was also a kaiju battle? The MC and the girl were actually decent for the amount of development they got. 9/10 the animation was incredible. |

| The end really killed it for me. “Love?” Really? That shit reminded me of the live-action Speed Racer movie. Thing is tho, Speed Racer was for kids, Redline isn’t. You really think you’re gonna end an adult movie with something that childish? Ok, you’re retarded. Pick what demographic you’re aiming this at pls. It had almost unparalleled animation along with a fun art style, but the story had next to nothing to offer. Just chaos. It reminds me of God of Highschool. At least Redline’s story is somewhat passable compared to that. It was definitely fun, but it lacks in substance. Visually, everything is polished to the brim. Narratively, the story left many things to be desired. Maybe would’ve been better as a tv series idk. 5/10 |

| An absolute masterpiece! This is the best anime movie that I have seen in a very long time. It is a mixture of Heavy Metal, Cool World, and Fritz the Cat.....LOL. I have no criticism of this anime in any way. 1. Artwork - top notch, the colors are vivid and mindblowing 2. Action - pretty much constant, even the restaurant scene has a great fight scene in it 3. Music - again it hits on all cylinders (pun intended), very well done 4. Story - very simple, very "cool", and a great ending... even the bad guys were fun First animation this year for a 10/10 score! Any anime that makes me root out loud for the MC and smile at the end deserves a perfect score.  |

| As with many anime, the first half was a masterpiece with a really cool world, likeable characters and a half-decent but very entertaining plot. Then they fucked it up with that ending. I checked out when the ship teleported onto the headquarters and just randomly knocked over the entire roboworld government with no further explanation whatsoever, I loved how unashamedly Saturday morning villain those guys are and wanted to see a proper ending. By the time JP and Sonoshee walked over the finishline after their car exploded I felt cheated. Everyone died about three times in the end there with those bio weapons but came out unscathed as well so you just stop caring. Still, 8/10 and JP is still the coolest anime MC known to man. |

| Well I had least expectation before I started to watch this movie and that was the best thing to happen. Oh! The experience here was overwhelmingly beautiful. This movie had adrenaline pumping thrill similar to Initial-D and had high octane visuals, action scenes and sound design similar to Megalobox. Amazing movie an outright 10/10 for me. Many people are complaining about the story and the characters I understand that, but it was very well suited for me. People who will not be able to grasp the chaotic world-setting and catch-up with the fast paced sequences may not resonate with the epicness of this movie. It's really unfortunate as anime movies doesn't release in cinemas near us. But luckily at the time I was watching this movie I had my large screen monitor, I turned off the lights and had this movie viewed in theatrical effect. PS: The ED song during credit is such a banger which gives you such a refreshed intensity! I usually either skip or skim through the credits to check for the presence the post credit scenes(which doesn't exist most of the time) but this movie made me sit trough the 4+ mnutes credit as the beautiful ED started right away. A cherry on top of feast! MADHOUSE you never fail to deliver the best experience. |

| Those first ten minutes and those last ten, I'm sure I wasn't even blinking, such was the thrill. Those races with that over the top soundtrack and illustrious artstyle and animation, was too much to take in these given 100 minutes. Couldn't care less about anything outside of race stuff, and tbh that mafia and all thing just flew over my head. And moreover I wasn't really expecting too something great out of story, given the genre it comes under. If just for animation, this is a perfect 10/10, just what you'd expect from the famed Madhouse but being a bit critical which really isn't my thing, would go with something lower than 9 and of course above 8, but hey you can't have your scores in decimal, so yeah would go with 8/10 for now. But I'm sure it'll change someday once I'll sort my scores out neatly. |
| This was peak Madhouse seriously. Anime movies are really just infinitely better when they keep it simple instead of trying very complex stories that are meant for seasonal releases that only end up a convoluted mess. Just a pure fun cult classic that doesn't really take itself seriously with a charming cast and filled with the most insane animation I've ever seen in history, No wonder they almost went bankrupt with this. 7 years in the making, hand-drawn animation, one of the most expensive anime to produce only to flop on the box office. People were missing out back then. I have to respect the dedication to the craft. 9/10 |

| Definitely style over substance. Crank up the spectacle to 100 and call it a day. Maybe I would've like more of a backbone to the story, but honestly it's not exactly needed. This was meant to be a theatrical experience, and man I can't imagine what it would've been like. 7/10 |

| I'm not into racing animes but this movie was literally on another level, there was something happening every moment of the show. After this it feels like I'm missing out on racing ones. The only flaw was the abrupt ending, they could have given a closure or showed how the characters ended afterward. 9.5/10 |
| This was quite the ride, first of the visuals, the visuals man, they were just incredible, from the moment the Yellow Line race started I was hooked on this movie from the very start. To think it took 7 years to get this film made, 7 and I’m trying to wrap my head around that. It was kind of like if Speed Racer got mixed with F-Zero but insane. It really had me on the edge of my seat, it was that intense. Loved the dynamic between Sweet JP and Sonoshee in the film, the dub was really good, I’d say Madhouse delivered spectacularly for this film overall. The ending I feel maybe should’ve benefited from having an epilogue but otherwise not much to say but I love it. |

| It's alright. The visuals fluctuated between impressive and weird constantly, but the races were intense entertainment. Characters were archetypical, but also charismatic at times. Wish the story was more grounded though, as it felt like an irrelevant subplot at times. |
