Entirely depends on how well it adapts the rest. With it being only one cour and needing to adapt 40+ chapters, its not looking good in terms of adapting stuff.

TMS(the studio working on Fruits Basket) has apparently done extra long special episodes (like 1 - 2 hrs long) for their other series, like Detective Conan and such for holiday specials (New Years) or just for extra important episodes. So there is a possibility that they may do something like that for the last episode or so. If they do do that, then everything can pretty much fit and it would make for such a nice send off, while still being a one-cour season.

I dont need to watch it to know, A usual show in top 50 has around 0.2-0.3% of people rating it a 1, attack on titan has 2.4% so taking an optimal case of 0.4% honest people giving it a 1(which is with sequel effect is actually too high but lets take optimal case to give you the benefit) FMAB+ a little bit of gintama etc... fans gave it an extra 2% 1s which equals to 14k people

fruits basket has only 6,224 people rating it totally so if because of sequel effect, if it comes near #1 it will in no way sustain its position as even if 50% of plan to watch people finish it and rate it pushing the popularity to 35k total raters all it will need is 8k people to bring it down to lower 7s this is ignoring that AOT fans dint rate aot s4 1s but a lot of them will do for fruits baskets to keep aot high so yes even without watching it I can confidently say that it will not come even close to FMAB

which is unrealistic if furuba comes close to #5 the highest furuba can come is the sweet spot of #10-15 so fanbos dont care enough to give it 1s but if it goes even higher it will drop to #30s cuz fanboys. but #10-15 is very doubtful as furuba has very less people making vunerable 1s fans of shows which gets overtaken by furuba will give 1 bringing it down cuz it has so less members my prediction is #30 after it gets over

I do not know if those who gave 1 are really watching this series. more than 1% is from 1/10, if it is not just because of that, maybe the score will become higher like 8.9+

Unlike the season 2, there's only a 0.2% who gave 1. SO it is possible that the score for this final season will keeps getting lower when they continue to spam 1

Real talk IF no one trolls it and only fans rate it, it DOES have the potential to be the highest rated anime. It's damn near the best manga-to-anime adaptation already nd everyone adores the manga.

Of course if it goes near FMA or Shingeki it will get trolled lmao, but I'm just speaking hypothetically

Based on its current rating, I think that it'll get down since the number of 1's are increasing. "To your eternity"will surely surpass this because I don't see many spams in it. I'm not saying that "To your eternity" is bad, but when we compare it right now, Fruits Basket is still much greater.

TO your Eternity is a great show as we see in its first episode, but Fruits basket is on another level. Just don't have high hopes that the score will increase, there are so many haters out there.
