Yes. I hate these ppl cuz' they lazier than me. One of my classmate asked for help with the test. I helped once, now I'm ignoring everyone. They should just look into the book. It's not that hard + faster than waiting for a reply.

I just found out, my friend has been confessed by a girl. The reason, she wants to go out with him is because he helps her with assignments/homework. That being said, he rejected her before he asked a reason since he had no clue why she asked him out in the first place :)

I deleted the email and ignore her as one should do.

@Crow_Black, Great stuff and you made the right choice. Imagine, forgiving and she will be back to square 1 with, asking for your help or doing the assignment/homework for her. If you ever feel bad then remember you done NOTHING wrong. :)

Yes, I recently spent a year doing almost all of an online student's homework, gave them test answers, wrote all of their essays and so on.

Hard to answer this question, because the idea of 'school work' could apply to so many things.

I was in the National Honors Society in High School, and had to tutor a few students who were struggling. The trick there was helping them discover their own way throught heir problems without hand feeding them the answers.

Now as a parent that skill seems harder to use, cause today's kids seem to just want the answer, rather than understanding process.

But I would lend an ear, or an eye to a friend that wanted feedback on a paper. I don't see any issue with that. So long as I didn't write the base of it.

No. I've done the opposite.

We had a test in class. Another kid was whispering at me to help him cheat. I completely ignored him. I could hear him but he kept asking for me, the teacher was coming closer and overheard him and he got in trouble.
My waifu is the most wonderful waifu. Mai Valentine.

We're freaking out that we're running out of time, but to do what? Should i stop and think of that? Is there something i could do to slow it down? Live in a day for once, instead of watch it sprinting by

Never gone out of my way to help somebody cheat but if I noticed someone cheating off me I wouldn't rat them out. In Highschool I also had friends who'd occasionally ask to copy my homework which I would allow if I was confident it wasn't the type of assignment where I'd get in trouble for it or that they would make sure to change things up a bit so that it wasn't the exact same as my version. But that's just me, personally I'm of the opinion there's no such thing as a victimless crime, as long as you're not hurting anybody else I don't give a shit what choices you make (the only person you're hurting by cheating is yourself, I mean you can make the argument whatever kid they beat out in college admissions with their slightly higher grades but let's be real the kind of people who cheat in school aren't exactly going off to top colleges). I also despise the homework system and the government's handling of school as a whole so cheating on busywork home I really don't think is a big deal. Cheating on something like a test or project however though is definitely lamer though.

No, I don't like cheating, so I haven't helped anyone cheat (that I can remember).

Why was this thread even bumped in the first place? :/

I still to this day get alot of bad memories from this incident and also, if anything its only made my paranoia and cynicism to people even worse.

I believe you can ask a mod to lock the thread. (I wouldn't delete it, in respect for people's replies.)
