| Yes yes yes yes! Omfg yes! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssss! This is the first PV and shows Yi city arc. Rumors says that it will be only 12 ep and the PV marked this as final season... so Idk how they gonna fit Yi city, Carp tower, second siege of burial mounds, lotus pier and guanyin temple in only 12 ep. We have almost half of the novel to go... It will be rushed af. Let's hope at least a satisfactory ending. I think it will be no BL content ‘cause of the Chinese censorship, but for me My fujoshi heart can’t wait! Hope they show us more in the next PV. |

The 12 episode thing is not official. MDZS has a huge fandom (in China and internationally). If the donghua butcher a lot of arcs and scenes the reception is not gonna be good! We don't know for sure how many episodes and the length of them. So it can be 12 episodes of 50 minutes. Or perhaps 15 episodes like season 1, or even more episodes! We have to be patient! |

Sorry to break it to you, but what you're doing is damage control. No-one from the FoD fandom asked the studio to re-write the key points from the novel for S2, yet they did it. They don't care about the project enough to adapt it in full while pacing it well. |

Precisely! therefore it's useless to wait for the story to unfold the same way as in the original, so don't expect the same arcs and scenes. Regarding the 12 episodes thing, the director said so himself. and 50m minutes episodes? C'mon!! Way too unrealistic... Guys I'm not saying that I have hopes for this being 100% faithfull. What I'm saying is that the 12 episode information is not official, the director said that, but it was long time ago. Things can change, or not. We have to wait. |
