Attack on Titan
| It appears the official website for Attack on Titan has confirmed that the Final Season is only slated to run for 16 episodes. Do you guys think that's enough time to cover everything so far in the manga? So far we've gone through 7 chapters of source material, and are now 25% through the season. We have at least 40 or so more chapters to cover. Assuming we continue the pattern of 7 chapters per 4 episodes, we'd reach Episode 16 at around Chapter 119, out of at least 140. Unless the anime skips A LOT, I don't see how 16 episodes is enough to tell a complete story. Perhaps a high-budget film would wrap up the final arc? Thoughts? |
| The anime will probably cover up to chapter 119 or 122 . Then after that maybe part 2 |

| Lol imagine calling a series "the final season" and then not finishing it. As well as the rumors saying the last episode would simulcast with the last chapter release. Imho they will rush it. |

(excluding OP and ED which takes roughly 3 mins of each eps, the math goes like this 21 mins * 8 eps = 2 hours and 48 mins) I have to mention that ch. 122 - 135 don't have staggering amount of dialogues like previous chapters so maybe they won't have to cut a lot of dialogues if they decide to make it as 8 seasonal eps or 1 movie or 2 movies. i personally want it as seasonal Part 2 though. Hmmmm As much as a Part 2 would be nice for it to come out faster, I would personally prefer very HQ to lower quality but come out faster. Although from the looks of it, I have doubts they'd make 2 movies or even 1 movie that's 2 hours and 48 minutes long (from what I've seen only TWO anime movies have even gone past 2 hours and 40 minutes, one being a 1983 movie and The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya). But hey, I'm all for waiting for an almost 3 hour long Attack on Titan movie. |

Imho they will rush it. Doubt it. Wit never really rushed it and this is the same director. Plus, other than episode 3 the pacing its going at now doesn't really seemed rushed. Unless they adapt like 5 chapters in to 1 episode which I doubt. The anime is probably gonna have fine pacing. Also just wondering if you can please show me the rumors so I can know also. After final season I assume there will be a movie or two It's possible though, they are working with Isayama and it was this way for FMAB, the anime finished before manga. So it's not unrealistic. |
