| I don't get it, Kimetsu no Yaiba came out last year and now it's blowing the whole anime community.Yeah it's sure a good anime but is it really a masterpiece as they call it or worth all the praise out there? Personally I don't think so. |

| i would say not. Vibrant character design, but that is the only redeeming point. the characters are very flat, plot is flat, enemies have all a background as part of tear generator, youll become death when zenitsu is introduced. Overall not a bad anime but only if you really like shounen. Its pretty much "mc can push trough" anime without putting effort in the struggles |

| It's the high production values. It would be just a normal above average dark fantasy show if it weren't for the fancy visuals and music. With that being said, it's definitely a show I would recommend. I had a great time watching it. |

| It's a decent anime with pretty good visuals and awesome fight scenes with a pretty darn good choreography in it. It's worth it. Unfortunately it has one of the most annoying characters you will ever encounter in animes that do nothing more than scream and "trying to be funny" in the most obnoxious way possible, enough to make your ears bleed. Does the anime deserves the current rating? I don't think so, I would have given it a 8.5/10 but thanks to that annoying idiotic character I was forced to reduce the rating to 7.5/10. |

| i'd say kimetsu no yaiba is worth a watch, its not just exactly like every other shonen action and has only 26 episodes which dont take long to watch. |

| Demon Slayer, so far, is nothing but a mediocre shounen backed by over-the-top art and animation. I guess you could say it is fairly dark, compared to Boku no Hero and ....Boruto. Humor in the show, while enjoyable, is not the highlight. Soundtrack is great, characters are pretty likable. One-villain-one-episode format during the first half of the anime did annoy for some time. Definitely worth the time, but clearly not a masterpiece. I find it hard to give KnY a score more than 8. |

| Almost finished with it and while I enjoy it enough, I don’t think it’s a masterpiece. It’s generic as far as... well, everything goes, but it does have an amazing production value and it’s not pretending to be something deep or profound so I’d give it a solid 8. |

| Not sure how you went to the conclusion that KnY is globally loved in the anime community. I personally witness more hate and "it's overrated" rather than actual praise. Just this thread generated a lot of hate already. Anyway, I think this show is worth it. Not only because anime is an audioVisual product which means that the visual is one primary aspect of why we watch anime in the first place. So yes the art, animation and OST is a great selling point. But also because we would most likely get an entire adaptation of the manga which is honestly rather rare and worth mentionning. Moreover, it might be a classic (generic) battle shounen as we all know, but isn't all battle shounen more or less similar to each other anyway? The reason why we watch a battle shounen is mainly because of these things they have in common. If you want your battle shounen to be something else, then just don't watch a battle shounen. Keep this in mind, KnY is not pretending to be a different battle shounen. And this is not a bad thing since that's just what it decided to be and people like it that way. |

| I don't think it's a masterpiece, but it is enjoyable. The animation is a big plus for the show and tbh it wouldn't be that good without it. I really enjoy good animation, would literally watch a show about nothing just to see some breathtaking animation, but obviously wouldn't give it a 10/10. The show is very good for beginners and also when you just want to watch something quick. I read the manga and tbh the potential it had was ruined for me, the story went really downhill after some point, so as they will animate more seasons the popularity will fall, in my opinion. But looking forward to the movie because that arc was still good and I am expecting some godly animation. But seriously, the second greatest mistake of KnY is the lack of Nezuko (the first is the abrupt ending). She had a potential to be one of the greatest characters in KnY, but she was just trown away. My greatest disappointment. So yes, KnY season 1 is actually good. The things that will come later will be worse. (obviously, there are some interesting backstories etc., but overall it's a ruined potential) |

| Nope. This series is the perfect example for something that's overrated just because it's popular. Not even the so praised episode 19 was that good, obvious plot. A true masterpiece is the episode 11 of kaguya sama season 2. That's really worth watching. |

| Personally, I think it's overrated. It has amazing animation and... that's it. I think that's the only outstanding trait Demon Slayer has, as for the rest, it's just mediocre. Predictable fights, unoriginal and generic plot, lots of plot convenience and awful character writing (awful characters in general, Nezuko for example is more of a pet than a character). If it wasn't for the animation it would just be another shitty monster of the week seasonal battle shounen. I'm not saying that it's bad, the animation made it very enjoyable, but does it deserve all this praise like it's the best anime ever made? Totally not. Is it worth watching? Yeah, I think it is |

Animu do chibi gags all the time, that isn't a dip in quality...this is a gag. btw no one told me shit, no one lied to me and said the animation is the only redeeming quality, I said that...that came from me! I believe, the animation is the only good thing about it. A few good animated scenes cannot carry an entire show. That's what I'm trying to say. Otherwise, everything with good animation will receive praise while actually it's more frequently the opposite that we can observe.
