This was one hell of a finale. I kinda thought that some twists were a bit random, but it really fits the absurd nature of this show so well. Enjoyed the comedy a lot, very different from Japanese anime, reminded me of western slap stick( which I love) and I had to laugh countless times. The gags had good timing, the dramantic elements didn't took away from it and vice versa. They even worked with the action, which was kickass btw. Simple charas and backstories, yet I was able to get invested in them, even with such a short runtime for the episodes.

To sum it up, everything this anime attempted was delivered and my enjoyment only grew with each episode. I initially came into this expecting a fun ride, but I got much more. Awesome and highly recommended to pretty much everyone. The appeal is broad.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

I agree, this was kind of a chinese version of Mob Psycho 100. With it's own identity of course.

This was a great show and I did not expect so much heart from this comedy and the action was actually well animated. It has a good amount of likable characters especially the lead and they gave us just enough taste of the lore that im curious where its going to go. I also like that even during the big fights it keeps its comedy I mean seven fought a dude in a robot suit that showed his undies and his society symbol is the Einstein tongue pic. Also I think steven jay blum is like 3 people on this show.

There is one couple in the show and there hints at a romance angle for the MC for the next season. Though if your expecting it to be a heavy part of this season then dont.

And so, it ends there. Final battle, Wu Liuqi basically achieved Mob 100. Some background info. What can I say, good ending.

I wasn't really too attached to this anime overall. It was very good stuff, but with the comedy and "let's end on a good note" ends, it was just something to look at as "hey, that was good fun" but just that. Really fun tho.

Loved the animation and art style from the start.

Good humor, action, the nice goodie feelings at the end of some episodes. This was a great series.

Also a big fan of just about everyone seven met having a lil scene at the end.

Okay, that was one of the best Donghua I've ever seen. So much fun! Xiao Fei is 100% a favorite. Overall, I thought the series mixed genres really well. The characters are colorful, contributing to the world of Chicken Island. Entertaining and unique style, fluid action scenes, witty dialogue. Seven's mysterious past is interesting. Can't wait to learn more about him in S2. Great work He Xiaofeng.

This was a fun season finale to watch, finally seeing Seven fight in all seriousness under really dangerous circumstances. The best part is obviously seeing Seven's old persona took over for a brief moment to decimate the nerd and blast him off toward the horizon. His mastery lays within the Thousand Demon Daggers 'katana', though he uses a scissor now for his current persona.

I absolutely loved this anime and made an account just to support it. This anime is so underrated and needs more recognition! I can already tell that this anime is going places.
Can't wait for the fifth season and the movie of scissor seven. This is by FAR my favorite anime that I have ever watched and would love to see it get the credit it deserves.

The series had its ups and downs, but I really enjoyed episodes 3, 6, 9, and 10. The OSTs were great, especially the song in episode 3 :)
The season finale was also great, I look forward to consistent quality in the future seasons.

This is underrated, and more people need to watch it. I wasn't expecting much. I saw an instagram reel of the english dub and thought it was funny, so I decided to watch it, and it was worth it.

It's comedic and the action is well done, so this gets a recommendation from me.

So that is the truth about Seven, very interesting. The final battle was very good, comedic ar first but serious at the end. Seven was able to recover his memories for a short period of time and save the island.
Now with a little review: I knew about this show since long ago but I was never interested in watch it, I only watched some clips of facebook and I also have hear very good reviews about it. Originally I thought it was a western cartoon by the style but ended being a donghua. I was expecting only action and not any comedy buy the comedy was pretty good and was funny to watch because how original it is. I give it a 8/10, now is time to watch the other 4 seasons.

I thought this season finale was brilliant!

The action was great, with high stakes and beautiful animation. Also, the resolution was sweet with the characters from the season waiting to see Seven. We left in a perfect place for a second season to pick up!

I really enjoyed learning about Seven's past, too. I wonder why he was betrayed by the person he was seemingly trying to protect?
