About Cyberpunk becoming more refined, I don't see it as very positive, if "refined" means more accessible, more tropes, then it also means we will see less artistic intent and more commercial oriented stories. Of course, great cyberpunk stories may be released in this "refining" process, but they may be the exception since a lot of people won't quite "get" what makes a great cyberpunk. Think about how many fantasy authors tried to make something as good and as immersive as The Lord of the Rings and failed. We got plenty of boring fantasy stuff, that may happen with cyberounk as well. |

The creator of cyberpunk 2020 Its natural to have saturation, and its always been a diamond in the rough, for good stories, games and any media, this is not exclusive nor never will be to any medium. | They should´ve released this prior to the games release. I´m probably going to forget about this one unless the game is really really really impressive, even tough It´s clear this anime is in all likelihood more than just marketing. But I am interestet to see if this starts a trend, fore good ore bad. |
| Been waiting for the game for years now, guess I'll be waiting a couple of years for this anime as well. But I'm sure it will be worth the wait. I know the anime will be featuring an original story but I can't help picturing an anime version of Keanu Reeves fucking shit up - which I'm totally down for. |
