| Karusu actually feels threatening with that ability, Bleach should've learned from this. Or other fight anime. I mean just blow up arms ASAP. Not shoulder slashes :P "oh damn" russian demon xD the fights actually being good (unexpected from an old series) the story is finally starting to move, but damn togashi was a fights whore :P |

| Was the part where Karasu was touching and talking about Kurama's hair in the manga? I thought it might be a reference to Legend of the Galactic Heroes since Karasu has the same voice actor as Reinhard von Lohengramm who's always touching his friends red hair. |
| Seems like Karasu needs to touch his target 1st before he can activate those bomb techniques of his. That is probably why he touched Kurama's hair. And Toguro x Genkai before?!?!!? Haha. |

| This was a great episode! We learned quite a bit, apparently Toguro and Genkai have history... The Toguro brothers are way too OP, they squashed their opponents. I wish the last one didn't kill the last guy. Great episode, best episode probably since the tournament arc. |

| It amazes me how many people keep underestimating Toguro's team. Those guys are in a completely different league from everyone else in the competition. More death flags for Genkai ;_; |

| The Gorenja team was the first fight that wasn't against Urameshi team that felt real, rather than just a plot device to die and show how strong the other team is. Even the character designs and powers had some work put into them. Toguro team is just that scary, like geez, that scene with Kurama and Karasu. Expecting these to be the best fights for sure. So Genkai and Toguro fought in the dark tournament 50 years ago, presumably winning and giving Genkai all her fame, especially among demons. The line "you, who went so far as to sell your soul in search of a moment's youth and strength" is making me think Toguro was a human too. And if he was I guess the elder brother was too at some point. Anyways yeah, excited to see the finals. My biggest wish is that Kuwabara has an actual fight this time. Also how dope will it be when Hiei goes in there with a fully controlled black dragon demon crazy attack and Kurama gets clown face to tell him the secret to become his original Yoko form. This episode built up nicely and has set high expectations I can only hope it lives up to(which I think it will). |

| I am excited to find out more about Toguro and Genkai. Also yeah the little Toguro is really gross, and that confrontation with Kurama was scary (though not unexpectedly). I did think that last guy was gonna join the team as their 5th member, but I guess not. |

| The more I watch I keep getting reminded of HxH, like- Karasu looks like Illumi and is kinda like him but his ability is like Bomber. Hiei reminds me of both Killua and Feitan What is funny is that this series came before XD Poor guy got star fingered in the Head! Aw man, I have a bad feeling about Genkai now(She was even talking to everyone like it was thier last meeting, but still added in a SEE YOU LATER to be confident), I thought they were lovers. Hopefully Yusuke makes it in time. |

| God damn Team Toguro really means business. Yeah when that one guy who said that Elder Toguro was useless without his brother helping him, somehow I knew that he was screwed. Maybe not in such a brutal fashion but jeez I hate it when I'm right sometimes. God that poor guy and his team got annihilated by Elder Toguro. That scene where the other two fighters that proceeded Elder Toguro was pretty intense stuff, poor Kurama was just on edge during that encounter. And we managed to get more of a backstory from Genkai and Young Toguro, apparently they knew each other when they were young. But now it looks a fierce fight is gonna break out between the two of them. |
| Poor Kurama getting his hair criticised. I found amusing how Toguro went with his "you look old so I'm going to get rid of you"-talk, okay, you are all about being rude now but I hope Genkai doesn't get killed. |
| That was so dark when the Elder Toguro gave hope to the last surviving opponent only to kill him in the end! I was so sure he would stay alive! |
 She got him back. If you understand the characters well enough, you'd know she did! |
