I was wondering if anyone knew a site similar to this one but with it keeping track of TV shows you've watched or are currently watching.

The only place that I've found that can make suitable lists is on iMDB, but it doesn't work out very well when doing your lists on there.

I use this site to keep track of my Anime; and it helps very much when they notified you when new anime episode arrived or announced .

Thanks in advance if anyone knows.

I recommend this site https://www.trackseries.tv/
you have a personal calendar where it shows you which show is available when, I also use IMDb, just have a tv show on your watchlist and they send you an email when it's available.Both of them are not sites where you can follow people and interact with others tho.

We have a short list of sites that I'd recommend checking on this board's rules. While it's not an exhaustive list, it's a good start.

Sunlight, leading to an encounter;
Dreams that don't want to end
Continue onwards toward the next day

I like TV Time because you know when a new episode is out.

mydramalist.com for Asian dramas/movies

There's some features there they have that MAL don't have, like posting feeds (similar to Facebook's newsfeed), making custom lists, "Not Interested" list, rating with decimals

I've used IMDB long time ago they used to have forums for all of the movies/TV shows
there's even a site that archived it you can see the old discussions/forum posts at https://moviechat.org/

Unfortunately there's not really any good ones; IMDB is the closest equivalent.

Give The Movie Database a try: https://www.themoviedb.org/

It has every entry for film and television shows that IMDB has - at least, I haven't come across it missing a page for anything I wanted to log, and I've logged some fairly obscure stuff whether older, foreign, etc. Its goal was to replicate IMDB's database while preserving the forum feature.

I was able to create two ongoing lists (you can edit at any time to add/remove an entry if and as needed, like MAL) for both film of all genres/eras/nationalities and television (live action, Western animation/cartoons, and I even include all my anime in this list as it has any of the anime I've sought to add logged as well).

I recommend using letterboxd to keep track of the movies you've seen! They have an app and their website is https://letterboxd.com/

I personally like using IMDb but show people my Letterboxd, IMDb isn't as social. At least with Letterboxd you can follow and comment on people's reviews.

Use https://trakt.tv it's one of the best for tracking literally anything. Movies, tv series, anime, dramas with airing time and everything.

I use Goodreads for tracking Books I've read, and Cagematch for pro wrestling shows I've watched/promotions/wrestlers I like etc. Their not exactly the same as here, but somewhat comparable.

SIMKL is by far the best tracking site, I would highly recommend it! Because you can also 2 way sync with MAL!

And their Curated Collection lists is amazing!

@Nubiellee I second TV Time, app is a little glitchy sometimes but it's a pretty good site overall and you can also add anime, plus every episode/movie has a comment section where you can reply to others.

@Azmarine

Wow! If they're bundling that much content into one site their database must be massive!

Until RYM (rateyourmusic) adds the tv section like they did with movies in 2010 (it's supposedly in the works) I still use imdb for tv shows.
