| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So this episode doesn't directly follow the first then and shows how Misa and Koyomi met. I'm still not sure about this series so far. It feels a little generic for my tastes even with the twists on magic styles and the like. I did like the 'my magic' pans thing though. The promotion at the end was bit of 'lol' moment. I don't think I've ever seen a promotion like that in an anime, especially after only the second episode! |

| Oh i was just about to make a topic. The story doesn't follow the previous ep which wouldn't necessarily make it bad, but the directing was a mess. This show could be good if it followed either the comedy route or a tuned version of the magical action thing of ep01. But right now it doesn't really do anything just takes its precious time to introduce us to all of the characters one by ep. Still disappointed.. |
| cd advertising in the 2nd episode...thats new i guess so who knowws why but she ended up with the "magician", and whats pretty much mattered about this episode and by the looks of it we are going to wach an other chaper while still wondering what happened in the first one the episode 00 looked good but i`m not liking very much the rest |

| I was "okay" with this episode. I would have liked it to continue from the first episode, but that's okay. I'm still going to watch this anime though. |
| I have seen episode 0, 1, and 2 and none of them connect directly in a timeline...I would have liked some kind of continuous storyline...but it looks like next episode may do that. This show needs to get a lot more action and/or comedy because right now it's a little boring. So far I think I liked episode 0 the best. |
| I dunno, it's very Haruhi Suzumiya-ish. Episode zero is like a OVA that fits in somewhere in the first half; episode 1 could be the beginning of a later arc; episode 2 really does look like an "episode 2" where episode one would have ended with her at the front door. I don't get it but I'll stick for the time being - it's not painful. I'm still hoping it will be a Hayate no Gotoku for the magic genre |

| Well, pretty average. I like the presentation of magic, the effects, the music and Fuko's voice, but other than that it's something I will probably drop very soon. |

I'm not sure if I will watch this series all the way through I need to drop something for the sake of my download limit and this is starting to look like it at the moment. I'll decide after I see the next episode. |

| i dont know its not really exciting but i still want to watch this. maybe the modern day magic is kinda interesting for me. too bad that the 00 ep was better. i would prefer if they make it more lightheart , since i really love the comedy that way. edit: haha the promotion was really great. |

| well they threw a fast one. i guess they want to keep things fresh. its not too bad. we get so stuck in the linear progression that it becomes rather mundane, especially for stories that aren't too great. |
| Pretty generic so far, depending on the next episode and if it can hold my interest. I might just drop this or only bother watching it after the episodes air. |

| My impression of this so far is worse than Shangri-la, by far. Also, I wish the characters would act a little more cool and less like they came out of a Bishoujo game. |

| I haven't watched more than this and the OVA, but it seems that the OVA has one storyline in medias res and then the show started with a new storyline in medias res and is now covering the backstory leading up to the first episode. That's the feeling I've gotten. Also I'm amazed I'm not th only person posting here in 2021. *looks at @Serafos's comment* |
