| How do you like or prefer them to be? Very structured, messy or a combination? Loaded with info and details or more simple/quiet? With the whole main cast included or just part of them? Among other qualities... Personally I love when they: - Are symmetric, with the main character(s) right in the center, not drawn way bigger than the rest of the cast and/or not covering most of the space available - Surrounded by the co-leads and supporting cast equally distributed by the sides (I don't like when they only include one or two characters) and hopefully not looking straight to the camera... - With the antagonist or "special-member/figure" (if there is any) of the show right above him to communicate threat or intrigue, respectively - With explicit inclusion of the logo, preferably positioned at the top (I really don't like when they don't include it) - Make the most use of color contrast as possible (given the character designs) to be visually stimulating - Give a general idea of what the show is about and what to expect about them, I don't like when they "tell nothing"... - And very importantly... that communicate some kind of genuine "impact" that makes the show appealing to be tried. Perfect example: Neon Genesis Evangelion  Other examples that don't meet all those requirements but are close to and I like a lot: Digimon Tamers' one is also fantastic with its spiral concept:  The currently airing Demon Slayer:  My Hero Academia 2nd Season:  Pokemon:  Durarara!!x2 Shou:  Tengen Toppa GL:  Among others.... | A classic one which immediately comes to mind is LoGH. Ashita no Joe 2 is another great one featuring Joe packing up a punch with blue flames cloaking his frame. Those who've watched it especially know how great the blue flame reference is. I also really dig this one. |

I'm not sure how to describe my taste, but I can't say I like the ones in OP much. Too many characters mashed together. Looks kind of generic. I like a more... I don't know how to put it. Stylish and original. Not too many colors. These are the pictures I've had printed and framed:    [EDIT: Forgot this one]  I also have a Megumin wall scroll (this one) and a several rare advertisement posters that I picked up in Akihabara. It's a pain to find the images for those online though. |

| I like covers that stand out, whether it be because of lighter/more vibrant colors, or particular characters, mainly because my actual list page just displays all the covers so it's pretty nice to see at quick glance ones that stand out like Blend S But my fav ones would be: 3-gatsu S2  Tada Doesn't fall in Love  Tamako Love Story  Tsuki ga Kireie  I really like ones that aren't too cluttered with characters and focus on the background a lot |

| There was a fan art competition many years ago with the reward of a life sized poster of Teresa of the Faint Smile from Claymore. I can't seem to find it anymore but it was actually very nice. |

| I'm not a collector of posters, but I tend to prefer the ones that look iconic rather than show off the characters. The ones that have lots of characters tend to feel kitschy in a way that isn't my thing; if anything I'd rather it show off emblems and objects of importance in the show. |

| I like something a bit more character focused too, but I'm less into action poses and people jumping towards the screen. I like something a bit more stylistically colourful, so I always get pissed when a show that's soon to air has a really cool poster, but then MAL replaces it with a much worse one because it's the 'official' one. A couple of examples, Cowboy Bebop's got some really cool and colourful ones. I do kind of like the JoJo Part 3 character posters, because of the layering and colour contrast And, oh sure just because I love, it here's one from Houseki no Kuni |
| Oh there are many that I like Your name, I like that it's semi-symmetrical I like the colors in Anohana's poster The elegant design of Bartender fits the show so well The coziness of Erased's poster And even though I didn't watch it, Steins gate's poster has always reminded of Nolan movies, Which I like And other stuff like End of Evangelion, The colors of all the AOT posters, The way Hachiman is always in the back in Oregairu's posters and The promised neverland poster having a plate shaped clock underneath the children. |

| When lots of characters are shown in a poster I prefer it to be done in service of the composition rather than just throwing a bunch of characters together,or else it feels cluttered to me. |

| I'm not a poster collector, but when it comes to promotional pictures, I like ones that has these qualities: - Really vibrant colors - Clear space or a simple background that feels spacious - Has the anime title Examples: Digimon Tri Bakemonogatari & Owarimonogatari season 2 And these posters makes me want to watch the anime |
| I have a lot that I like but some big examples would include: Hunter x Hunter (2011) Chimera Ant this isn't the main pic but I really like everything about this Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai End of Evangelion Fate/Stay night Heaven's feel movie 2 and 3 I'm not sure if I have a single favorite but these ones and a few others I didn't mention are ones that stick out to me. Judging by my favorites, it looks like I prefer the darker tone and darker color palette anime posters the most |
