Anyways this was a pretty good filler episode but I'm happy to finally be starting this next Saga.

Oh well so far for that new character... a filler in a filler could be worse but well lets see what the next arc has to offer!

Chi-Chi vs Bulma and Master Roshi's antics were the best part of this episode. Fuck the "plot". This episode brings an end to the Garlic jr. saga.

I enjoyed this episode. Although I pity Kuririn, but it's his own fault: what the hell are you doing? I understand that as Maron was presented in a filler, she had to "go". I hope Kuririn will find better woman in the future

P.S. I'd guessed right that Freeza's father is going to be next villain :D

Pretty funny episode, this is the kind of filler I like, something that utilizes the great cast for some laughs.

Nice episode.

Marin calling Bulma/Chi-Chi middle-aged, lol.

"Both: Well she's much older! So She's middle-aged!"

Isn't Bulma technically older?

So... Bulma is in denial? lol

Yeah. Bulma is definitely in denial. She's several years older than Goku who is (I think) the same age as ChiChi. But we can't let a little thing like facts stand in the way of Bulma's vanity can we?

For reference sake, here's a screenshot from original series.

Side Note: Poor, poor Kuririn. One of my all time favorite characters. He's the Charlie Brown of anime!

Never knew there were scenes like that in Dragon Ball lol, even though it's pretty miniscule I guess,it still makes a statement for such points as these.

I know this is only 1 filler episode about Krilin+Maron but somehow I really liked this. Nice coloration in the sunset etc. And there is more real truth to this than you might think as a young child watching it.

In short Maron was the typical money-grubbing shopping bitch - admittedly beautiful tho. Really liked the ending when Krillin was secretly crying behind his sunglasses while laughing on the outside.

The only thing that was slightly confusing was to see Gohans muscle body.

Before 118 I need to watch this to stay in line

It is not that Maron was too good for Krillin, it is the other way around. Krillin is kind, honest, and loyal. Going off on a venture deep at the bottom of the sea, traversing a variety of sea creatures serving as obstacles, just to get the person you are infatuated with a wonderful gift. If anyone did such an extremely thoughtful act for me, I would be flattered tenfold, maybe even beyond that. Still, Maron did seem honest when she said she would have said yes to Krillin's marriage proposal. If that's the case, she is not as shady as I painted her to be. Then her most disconcerting shortcoming is her airheadedness to comprehend any questionable behaviors or possible serious threats, as seen by her willingness to accompany a suspicious rich guy for an ice cream endeavor.

I do admit, Krillin and Gohan standing side by side make them look like siblings. Also, I am surprised just how buffed Gohan is while being a 6 year old. He is packing heat.

Well, their relationship wouldn't last long, to begin with. They were far too different in nature to in any way or form; work together. Maron would simply be a long-term distraction on Kuririn's side, as she is incapable of taking any serious situation as it is intended to be taken - seriously. It's the sort of thing that has happened between Goku and ChiChi - the difference being that ChiChi is over-exaggerating every literal situation there is to the point of almost quasi-revulsion. It would feed my trepidation for a similar occurrence to happen if they were to stay together. Kuririn is better off finding someone more suitable for him. And, oh my, that ending scene where she jumped into the car. Pure gold.

Kuririn made the right decision, she wasn't his true love and he for sure deserves only the best.

Happy 1000th birthday to the turtle. Master Roshi knows how to find some good long lived friends!

Speaking of good friends, it was wise of Gohan to talk Krillin out of stealing that giant pearl from those fish. If they were willing to lift up a giant boulder to protect it, I'd say they deserve to keep it.

Maron had Krillin rushing back to her with all those compliments at the end. Yet the first guy with a ride pops up, and she instantly joins and sets off with him! Maron wasn't a bad person, just scatterbrained and a not so good girlfriend lol.
