If you had the opportunity to choose your birth date, which one would you have chosen (day and month)? Are you comfortable with your actual birth date?
| I like my actual birthday date, but if people were able to choose their birth dates, I would have chosen June 24th, since I love that month and 24 is my favorite number, and because certain very relevant event of my life took place that day. Also, some practical issues may cause some people to legitimately not be comfortable with their birth dates since they fall during special celebrations where everyone is paying attention to something else. For example, when I was a kid, I always felt sorry for the people who were born close to Christmas time (around December 20th to December 28th), especially on December 24th or 25th, because normally that meant said people were only going to receive presents for both Christmas and their birthdays' celebrations combined, this is, just one occasion, instead of two, meaning fewer gifts, as opposed to kids that were born in any other time of the year. I had one friend at school who was born right on December 24th and I felt sad for him because in his birthday he wasn't the sole "focus of the day" and his family was celebrating two things at once, partially diminishing his birthday relevance, and because he got gifts for only one occasion in the year. To a lesser extent, I also feel bad for people born in January 1st, since in that day nobody wants to celebrate anything or going anywhere after having just celebrated New Year and people just want to rest, and in most national political and/or religious important dates, like July 4th in the US, since everyone is in another mood and people with birthdays that day do not get much attention. And let alone those born in February 29th, lmao. Having officially a birthday every 4 years. What about you? Do you like your birth date? Would you have chosen another one? Or you just don't care? |

| As I get older I start to realize just how arbitrary birthdays are, like it's just like any other day throughout the year except it just happens to align with the calendar that we use that you entered this world x number of years ago. I mean the same could be said for all holidays, just the same day as any-other, except someone just decided that It will mean something special. What does a day symbolize anyways? We're just moving around a sun that's moving around a massive black hole at the center of our galaxy that's moving through the universe around some unknown supermassive object. Does anything have any meaning? I think I'm overthinking it just a little... Yet whenever my birthday comes around, I wake up and feel as if some small thing is different. Everything seems a little brighter and happier to me. I look up to the (usually) clear sky and think "man, what a wonderful day it is to be me." So to answer your question, I like my birthday the day that it is. It usually comes around when life is getting rough and dirty, so it helps me keep my head high and work towards something, plus April 27th just rolls off the tongue nicely. (idk why i wrote so much lmao) |

| I wouldn't change mine, since it's mine and it would defeat the purpose of telling others about the day I was born. However, it would have been neat to be born in summer vacation (instead of mostly in Easter vacation) or better: on a fixed public holiday that isn't Christmas or New Year. | Something like 11/11/1991 just for numerical reasons. Other combinations of ones and nines could be fine too. It's actually the reason why I don't like to state my full birthday, cause the symmetry of this year is just beautiful and everything else ruins it. |

| I’m fine with my birthday, July 29, it’s right in the middle of summer (although, in one of the hottest times of the summer where I live, July and early August feel like satans asscrack sometimes) but at least it’s not dumping snow.
