| I am looking for anime that focuses on warfare and military and takes more realistic approach, similar to Mobile Suit Gundam 08th MS Team and some segments of Ghost in the Shell SAC. Preferably contemporary warfare, WW1 or WW2, tho sci-fi and historical stuff is also okay. |

| There are only a few battle sequences in Hyouge Mono, but they appear to be historically accurate representations of Sengoku-period warfare. Reminiscent of scenes in Kurosawa movies probably by design. I know little about Persia so I can't judge the warfare depicted in Arslan Senki.Seems plausible though. Another vote for Angolmois.
