What yuri couple, canon or non-canon, do you think stands above the rest?
(I already know there's going to be so much Love Live...)

It's not my number one personal favorite, but in terms of objective merits, I think that it's hard for any other yuri couple to hold a candle to NanoFate.

Kyouko x Sayaka. I absolutely adore this couple and their chemistry is awesome. They are literally a couple who fights together against fate. A couple which fights together stays together.

Too many... I rewatched Strawberry Panic just recently though, so if I HAD to choose one, NagisaxTomato. They would have been such. an. adorable. and happy. couple. >_<.

Kind of agreeing with Nanoha x Fate even though I haven't seen all of the season.
Although my personal favorite might be Madoka x Homura (because I really liked the show).

But I honestly ship way too many canon / non-canon Yuri couples. It's hard to pick. :D

To be blunt, I think that any ships from YuruYuri aren't really qualified for this position, BECAUSE although it's popular, the ships are very easily contestable. If we did one from YuruYuri, we might argue not just about which to pick, but about whether the people IN the ship belong in another.

Haruka x Yuu from Sakura Trick is canon, and has an anime adaptation, as questionable as the quality of said animation is. There's really no contest for the main ship, and it's a really popular series.

Nanoha x Fate is another fair choice in my opinion because it's a long, fleshed out story, with a ridiculously large and fervent following.

I think, the best one wouldn't be exactly an anime to me. I pick Korra and Asami and I pick them over others, because the authors had the guts to make it official and all, that's always great to get canonly approved content lol.

My second place share Homura x Madoka and Ymir x Historia. Really love them as well.

Speaking of actual Girls Love anime, I really liked both couples from Aoi Hana and Sasameki Koto and Sanae x Hanabi from Scum's Wish.
