Though the general impression can vary depending on whether they adapt 7-8-9 or 7-9-10, because vol. 8 has more Enri, Nemu, Nfirea, village people, goblin people, Nazarick maids and some Ainz and contains events that get followed up in vol. 9, while vol. 10 has quite a lot of Ainz and follows up on a "plotthread" that's been involving events in vol. 2 and vol. 7. Regardless, vol. 9 will definitly be animated, so that's the most important. |

| I wouldn't hype it too much. The main selling point of this series is brutality, once you get used to it there isn't much behind it. I started reading LN around the middle of anime S2 and caught up with translation and frankly got a little bored of it already. Plot conveniences get out of hand to the point of MC being pretty much just stupidly lucky and way too good at bullshiting his way out. In short, it's a good time waster but don't expect much for your own good. |
