Actually, they've written themselves into a corner now. The dub has ignored something that becomes the entire plot of a volume being adapted this season. It's beyond me how they'll retcon it in the dub script.

As a Sub&Dub watcher this slightly irritates me. Why? For this simple fact: For the amount of anime you've watched you don't even seem to realise that you've probably watched a lot of fansubbed shows. While they may try their best that doesn't stop stuff like adding in words, messed up translation, etc. (And sometimes they're just plain unreadable.) So unless you're fluent in Japanese you're never going to be able to *100%* "accurately follow the story". Bit of a minuet point but even in official subs not every japanese word has a translations, so there's times when they'll have to use a world in English that doesn't mean the same as the Japanese phrase (obviously this applies to dub too but you basically went over that).

(Side note: And obviously Dubs are completely more professionally done than fansubs.)

It highly depends as i remember hearing the voice actor for issei was arrested for a serious crime. If they can find an adequate English speakung voice actor and the sales go well there is no reason they wouldn't dub it. Even though i prefer sub as the translation isn't quite right and most of the tine it doesn't catch the original character emotion to me.

Cause you know, the thing about translations is that not every accurate translation will fit in the characters original mouth movement and they kinda have to make something up. I rather accurately follow the story, then hear a poorly attempt of translation.

Edit: Also english female voice actors are so damn annoying to listen to.
