Bro he called you a shit poster because you posted shit, All you said was 'this sucks!' with nothing to back it up, your post had nothing of value therefore being shit see?

if you don't like Tokyo Ghoul why are you even here?

Because he likes shitposting.

Yes it'll probably sucks take it with a grain of salt Pierrot will always likely to be disappointing.
Idk why Ishida Isui agree to let them adapt such good Manga.

Fuck it, let's dig this adaptation a grave.

Do you really think this season will catch up to the end of the manga? A lot happens and i havent even read the manga so they'll have to cut out a lot?

Doubt it. 12 episodes decently paced would only cover 31.5 chapters. Maybe 60 if they rush it to tell like they did season 1. 24 episodes would cover up to chapter 60 most likely. Or up to 143 if rushed to hell like season 2 did. The manga is at 160 chapters and not over so I doubt it

With the awful way Studio Clown adapted the original manga this is going to make no sense in the slightest. How are they going to explain what will happen in the future of Tokyo ghoul:re. Which ever studio is making this has a huge amount of ground to cover and honestly I'm not expecting them to be able to do this great series the justice it deserves.

This makes me really sad because Tokyo ghoul is one of my favourite manga
Me too. I’ll be especially annoyed/sad if they cram the whole manga (which will end around 160-70 chapters) in 24 eps

they'll most likely make two seasons. It would be wasting a good source of money otherwise.

What i hate about these threads is that the Manga writer the guy that made the series you all love to finger your buttholes too LITERALLY oversaw the animes first and second season and he made sure it played out exactly how he wanted the Manga too originally. So.. the fact that you people so "OH ITS GOING TO SUCK CAUSE ITS NOT THE SAME AS THE MANGA" Well you ever think the Manga writer who made your beloved series wants the anime to be this way for a reason?

Just respect it and enjoy it for what it is, its a good show regardless.

Except that's LITERALLY not what happened. Especially in the case of Root A, where bits of the original draft proposed by Ishida were leaked online, all of which were thrown out by the anime production team in favour of the story they went with. (http://sunset-tower.tumblr.com/post/129424575942/thank-you-so-much-for-you-post-about-the-anime). Your claims are contradictory regardless, as if that's how he wanted the series to play out originally, it would be impossible to adapt Re anyway, because it narratively does not make sense after what happened in Root A. Face the facts, Root A and everything associated with it barely had the original mangaka's involvement, and it was purely a result of the production team's fuck up. That might not be the case with this anime, but to use the argument that "the original mangaka was involved so you guys are idiots har har" not only shows an unnecessary amount of arrogance on your part, it also shows how misinformed you are about the situation. Using that logic Dragon Ball Evolution would be above any kind of criticism from the fans because of the original mangaka 'involvement' in the production, and anyone who has seen it can tell you that's obviously not the case. Get your facts straight, before you start jumping on your high horse mate.

Idk what's wrong with ppl, but I loved root a as fk. I dont read the manga (looks like im lucky) since i would trashtalk about the anime then, why dont you ppl see this anime as an anime, and not a fucking adaptation? lmao its not hard. As an anime it was fucking great, and much better than hundreds of other animes. It will be obviously different from what you read so idk why you guys were surprised. Make the expectation a little bit lower and you will be satisfied. Also who don't like this anime why are you even bother yourself commenting? Go watch cory in the house fgt

Please name some anime you think are worse than it. (Equally popular ones)
And the forum says "it's probably gonna suck" that's why everyone is coming here not because they are trying so hard to be edgy that they have to praise this garbage

the problem is that the first season of tokyo ghoul was decent i wouldnt say its bad but i wouldnt say its good on the other hand root A is just a garbage show so i have every right to say this could suck but thankfully the pvs have made me think this looks great.

Judging from their previous 'hardwork', the chances of them screwing this up is high like 80% lmao. But I am still gonna watch it for Kishou Arima and Ken Kaneki hahahahahaha(Manga readers should know what I mean).

Idk how they'll handle story. It looks like they're planning to ignore Root A ever happened.

Either way, the manga is ass right now, so it'll just be like watching a trainwreck. Let's see how this plays out.

Gonna be another case of Berserk all over again. The true fans will read the manga and continue to expect noone to deliver a faithful adaptation that shows off the true worth of the series. I'll still watch it, only to see how Studio Clown continues to butcher the series. But at least we had Parasyte right?

This is nothing like berserk. Tokyo ghoul always just poorly adapted the story, but it was still one of studio pieret's waaayyy better looking shows. Visually, it was good quality. Berserk is way worse on the opposite side of the spectrum where the visuals are just total hot garbage, bad enough to legit hurt your eyes. Plus, the story was the same except with no visual compliment, so it was literally worse than just looking at a manga. At the very least tokyo ghoul managed to adapt the crazy smooth detail of the manga artwork into a style that fit easily into a shonen battle show, while enhancing it with certain graphic effects techniques that make it resemble a alt rock band's music video. Especially in the intros and outros, those were amazing. In other words, mindless children (like me when I first watched the show) can still enjoy it, and even some teens or adults if you just wanna look at something without thinking too hard, but the first thing my little brother said to me when I was watching berserk for the first time was that it looked like a bad ps2 game...

If you read the Tokyo Ghoul manga you'd know they basically butchered the story completely. It's not a case of, "oh it's basically the manga just worse". No it was complete trash. The manga is good, :re is very good. Pierrot is trash. Nuff said

The original anime sucked so its a given that Pierrot, which by all means is not good at making faithful adaptations, would do good by this one. It's a shame since TG is my favorite manga series as well.

While I did enjoy both season of the anime, it's sad that in the end it was a horrible adaptation and given Re: has lots of info dump there's no way Pierrot is gonna cover everything smoothly. I agree this is gonna suck hard and personally i believe that Madhouse should've been the studio to handle the anime adaptation for the series.

I had the anime recommended by someone who showed me Shokugeki no Souma. The first 2-3 episodes were ok. The rest of the two seasons were trash. I think I rated a 2 for both.

This is gonna be so funny, they managed to screw both seasons ( S2 was like 1 page in manga :D and they skipped the rest)... wondering what are they gonna do about some characters or stuff that should happen in S2 but didnt etc... i guess music will be okay with like 1 decent fight scene in whole anime.

Dogshit anime original alternative story that tries to rip-off canon scenes, alters arcs from the manga and entirely different ending.
Aogiri arc in anime S1 was also dogshit compared to the manga.

To answere your upcoming question. I guess with will adapt the anime to like chapter 80 cuz there is some major stuff going on.
So they will do a 2nd season of :re for 80-165 i guess.

It's always like that, for the manga readers.
If you read the manga, it shows a lot of back stories and focuses on small things as well. But in the anime, they are short on time and budget, thus they end up skipping most of the small things.
So imagine you are a manga reader, and you really liked a specific scene or some dialog between two characters. The anime gets released and you are hyped to see that, but they end up skipping that scene or dialog, so how would you feel? You'd rage and bash your keyboard and spam the forums with the comments like you described in your question.
I can go long and talk more about it, but I hope you get my point....
*Happy new Season*
