DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ayame, the granddaughter of the Yōrōzoku leader in the north, searches for Koga, who is needed to unite the Yōrōzoku and once proposed to marry her. Meanwhile, a cast-off piece of Naraku is attacking everything in sight and Koga decides to take off with Kagome to protect her, only to run into an angry and jealous Ayame. |

| Koga is such a playboy. I just imagine him telling that to every little girl he save, slowly planning his future harem. Clever girl boy. I can totally see Kagome side with Ayame :P She already tried to play the cupid once. |

| Now.. I've been watching Inuyasha every year since 2011.. and every time I rewatch it, I dread this episode. These episodes featuring Ayame are the ones I resent the most. Would it be fair to call her a Mary Sue? I feel like she is but I also feel my bias speaking. I don't want to label this anime-only something she's not, but does her character even merit that much respect??? I even like Kikyo more than her at this point, and like every KagomeInu fan, I used to hate Kikyo. I just dislike this character so much. I'm so angry she exists. I'm glad she's not in the manga. |

| This episode felt a lot like Ranma 1/2 with all these talks about fiance and marriage. Koga should forget Kagome and just make out with Ayame. |
