I hate it when studios clearly use lazy-ass animation (among other things), and they expect viewers to not notice it's shit (well, I dunno if they're expecting that, but I hate the viewers who don't realize it's shit even more).
Be thankful for the wisdom granted to you.

You pointed out two anime (KLK/P&SWG) that are very unique in how they deal with fanservice and are in my opinion, quite different than your ordinary fanservice fare. Especially in the case of P&SWG it does not pander to what is known as the dreaded "male gaze."

And I understand that the Naruto reference was an example, there are other shows that deal with the setback of not having female characters that are up to par with their male characters, but that's a whole other conversation.
you mean that kind of gaze that objectifies women right?
And yb there are pure male shows like JJBA and etc. But JJBA also had Lisa Lisa, the first Female character in shounen who is not a love interest nor a damsel in distress.

Yes, that's the one. Unfortunately I haven't read or watched enough of JJBA to be able to put in my two cents here, but I know it's mostly made up of male characters, which isn't inherently bad. There are sports anime for example that's about all male teams but they are still popular with women. The problem in a male dominated show then would be if the few female characters were all only there for objectification, making the male leads look better, being damsels in distress, and the like.

Ohohohoh I completely agree with that.

Heck ppl go insane when I criticise shows like Fairy tail or SAO, but when I attack another show then it is okay? That is a whole new issue.
And all that because of hype hype hype and popularity.
These fans also think that popularity = Quality, while that is far from the truth.
Sao, really popular, got tons of criticisms thrown at it and ppl still refer it to as the best thing ever. Same goes for others like Rezero and etc.
And when we recommend older good shows to them they go "IT LOOKS OLD SO IT SUCKS YOU ELITIST SCUM, GO BACK TO YOUR 90'S!!!!"
Which is really infuriating!

To elaborate, I wouldn't even say shows like SAO and fairy tale are bad per say. Even though I do not like them, they still serve the purpose of revealing why people watch them in the first place, because of themes like friendship, humor, idealism, perfect main characters. There are reasons people like this kind of show, and dismissing them as bad is oversimplifying, and not real criticism.
But it's still important to criticize shows, because there is more to life than just those themes. Even elitist shows should still be criticized, because nothing is perfect, and there are still more to life than just the themes in those shows.
My favorite anime critic right now would have to be Pause and Select on youtube, he does the best vids.

In anime I generally hate unearned melodrama the most. If the characters have just been introduced and the relationships haven't been fleshed out, I'm not going to care about their feels and struggles. And if they're going to have some 'emotional' scene then for the love of God don't stretch it to be a half-episode-long if I'm not going to care yet! Give the characters some time to become more wholesome first!

I can be okay with all sorts of fanservice, asspulls, harems, Mary-Sue/Gary-Stu, power-of-friendship crap, filler trash, yaoi/yuribait, genericness, bad animation quality etc. as long as the show does justice to the characters and their relationships. They're the ones carrying the show, and if I hate every single one of them for being unnecessarily emotional over nothing then I'm not going to get any enjoyment out of the show.

In the anime community I find fujos to be some of the most intolerable people out there. This is partially because, as a fujo myself, I often have to deal with them due to shared interests. So of course I'd come across annoying fujos eventually if I frequent the fujo circles. If there are idolfans, yuri enthusiasts or other otaku that are equally enraging then I'm just lucky enough not to have witnessed it. But since non-fujos are constantly calling out fujos for acting like retards it can't just be me seeing things. There are certain series, such as Yuri On Ice, that I like quite a lot, but I just can't get into as much as I'd want to because of the fandom. I don't feel like scavenging for fanart or interacting with YOI fans out there because of how I've seen some of them behave. It doesn't make me dislike the show itself, but it certainly makes me enjoy it less since the fandom is part of the fun for me.

Well I have just looked at some of his vids and he sounds like a nice guy.

However, When I critic a show, I don't look at the Themes but rather how the show handles these themes.
Themes like Friendship, adventure, Comedy, these themes really are fun IF DONE WELL along with the Characters.
in the end, There is no such thing as a bad theme. even fan service is not bad at all.

and ofcourse High ranked Elitist shows should be pointed out at what they did wrong, just as Bad shows should be pointed out at the things that they did right.

Like for example: I don't like Fairy tail but the soundtrack (Especially Dragon force) really Makes me Smile and the show was pretty Funny at times (partly thanks to the troll cat).

I love HxH but the show wouldn't be loved so much if the Chimera ant arc and yorknew arc weren't there, and the early Recap episodes where really annoying, plus even the Chimera ant arc had things like an Narrator who Refuses to shut up and
.

My favourite anime Youtubers however is Bobsamurai.

I hate that Harem and Ecchi (fanservice) were used so much in anime to the point that they even became genres. Inb4 Incest will become a genre too. Some people think that they are "funny", but most of the jokes are so repetitive, it's like watching the same thing over and over.
I also hate it when an anime adaptation caught up with the manga, and instead of going into hiatus, it continues its own story, while the rest of the manga is left unadapted.
Also, fillers. Especially flashback fillers which serve no purpose but to lengthen the series.
I don't mind the anime community, every community is like that.

I posted a few days ago in this thread to say that I don't hate anything about anime.
Well, I found out a thing I hate after all: DUBS
I hate dubs and though I never watch them, I don't want them to exist either so I would be easier to find subbed anime instead.
Signature? I ain't got no signature! I don't need no signature! I don't have to show you any stinkin' signature!

for anime I hate nothing about anime the only thing that bothers me is bad ecchi harem anime that forces fanservice in serious moments, not like akiba's trip where it does it in a fun and enjoyable way but shoves it in where an important thing is happening

Could you give some examples?
Shows that retain the same (high) level of fanservice throughout the show, like Strike Witches, Bikini Warriors or Najika Blitz Tactics, do not count.
It's not like witches suddenly growing skirts for the final battle would make sense.

@spinyblueshell @Bourmegar
Elitists have a derogatory connotation because they find minor flaws in a perfectly good show (like SAO), and then make a drama out of like it's the end of the world.
