I'm going to be on break for about a month, so I can finally pay attention to some sweet new shows. Let me know your favorite show is, what your least favorite is, what shows are overrated, what shows are underrated, or what that show is that every hates but you really like. I'll try to at least check out every single one!

Hey OP
Recently I really liked anime like

Hai To Gensou To Grimgar - It's a very human anime, that takes people and their small quirks seriously.

I also really liked Junketsu No Maria as well. It's a very intelligent anime that'll leave you thinking.

I enjoyed Rokka No Yuusha. It's a mystery anime where the people in the mystery are fantasy action heroes

There's more I'd like to recommend, but I don't know if you'd like them or not. Hopefully you do :)

Log Horizon
Defintely something of political intrigue. Though the character isn't physically strong, he's a tactician and incredibly cunning. Underrated.
Girls Monthly Nozaki Kun
Shoujo Satire, would definetley suggest if you seen a lot of anime and you've seen all the tropes.
Senyuu.
Something very quick to watch. Also a satire.
Katanagata
An art work turned into 12 hours worht of effort.
Spirit Blade Mountain (otherwise known as REIKENZAN: HOSHIKUZU-TACHI NO UTAGE)
Haven't seen the anime, but I have read the light novel and the adpated webtoon.

Would also suggest reading...
Tower of God
God of Highschool
The Gamer
Black Clover

... if your interested.

Thanks for the recommendations, man! Those shows sound rad! I'd love to hear more! I don't get the chance to watch anime as much as I would like, so anytime I can get recommendations, I jump at the chance.

You haven't seen anything until you've watched the Blame ONA.

It's a brilliant work of art, and such an unheralded one at that. If you desire a great story, Blame's plot most certainly surpasses any other. It's an action-packed postapocalyptic epic where every detail, every twist, every transitional device is delivered flawlessly.

If you want great animation, well, Blame has it in spades. There's not a single episode, a single scene, a single second that doesn't engulf the viewer in its visual brilliance. Blame's aesthetics will take your breath away; it will cause your jaw to crash to the floor as if this were a Tom & Jerry episode.

Blame isn't an anime; it is the purest definition of an undisputed masterpiece. Don't take my word for it. Here; now you can witness the miracle that is Blame for yourself.

That moment when you come to a thread to recommend so ra no wo to but someone did that literally 7 seconds before you. anyways +1 to so ra no wo to

Also Cross Game if you want some romance/spoert coming of age story.

Eureka Seven because it is Eureka Seven and it needs to be seen.

And lastly I highly recommend the monogatari series, (the order can be found in my profile so if you're interested in watching it copy and paste it somewhere)

Every episode is six minutes long. They're really short so you can finish the whole thing without a problem.

Start with Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. you will really like it as you are new to anime and it should be able to get you fired up.
next animes to watch (in steps):
1-code geass (season 1 and 2)
2-steins gate
3-fullmetal alchemist
4-tokyo ghoul (many hate this and im not a big fan but its worth watching)
5-parasyte the maxim (Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu)
6- death note ( this is one of the most popular anime out there but there is resons as to watching this after a couple anime).
all these anime i mentioned are available in english dub too.
edit: ive relised you watched couple if the mentioned animes but this is my copy and paste from suggestion list for new comers. yet you still might have code geass missing. its the best anime out there in my opinion.
