Ok, but if I watch Orange:Mirai when it comes out (November 18th), will that be ok? If not, can I just switch to Medium difficulty? There's not a specific time slot as far as I'm aware. I guess you're able to do the challenge if you feel that the unaired anime has been on your list for far too long, despite not being able to watch it yet. So in that sense you're able to do the challenge after all. |

I don't drop shows ever and my on hold section is basically for the entries I'm unable to find. For example a One Piece special that's only been shown in Japanese theaters. |

The "on hold" and "dropped" challenges are bonus challenges for a reason. You don't need them to complete the challenge because it would be ridiculous to assume everyone has "dropped" or "on hold" shows. The ptw challenge, however, is required for the challenge so I think it's absurd to ask someone to manage his ptw all the time in order to complete the whole challenge at all. In my head, the challenge asks for something that you should have been watching a long time ago but didn't for whatever reason. If it's on MAL's ptw or your imaginary ptw doesn't really matter imho. |

Like you said it's not certain everyone will have a certain anime on their PTW list for a long time. - Could just put any anime really, even anime you may have heard about before and never started. |

So what do I do about this? It doesn't need to be on your PTW here on MAL to be valid. It has to be a serie that you, some time ago, wanted to watch but left for later (as said by Miragee). Using a show that hasn't aired is stretching it a bit since it's a given you can't watch that.... so let's say that back in January you wanted to watch Ajin while it aired but then never got the chance to, so that would count. Or something from when you started watching anime, let's say Cowboy Bepop caught your attention when you entered the anime world but have yet to seen it. Stuff like that. I say that it doesn't has to be here on your PTW in MAL because (1) after edited there's no way to tell when an entry was added to such list and (2) I myself don't have everything I'm planning to watch here (heck it would be well over 5k entries only there). Hope it helps. |

Recommend me something not too long (like 2 cours is fine), no harems/ecchi fests or bottom of the barrel LN adaptations, I still have much to live for. Ah, anime with characters in a romantic relationship would be cool too. I'm not sure how "romantic relationship" is taken here but I'd want something with characters in a relationship early on or from the start. |

Just as a general note for thought for next year: I'm still not convinced that this listing is true for TV anime: Winter : December, January, February Spring : March, April, May Summer : June, July, August Fall: September, October, November First off I think the run-time of a 1-cour should be considered. Because if you joined in the beginning of March, then you joined during a time when most likely only winter anime were airing but no spring anime yet. Secondly, we still have stuff like this: https://myanimelist.net/anime/15689/Nekomonogatari__Kuro Aired in December and counts as Fall and is a TV series (even though it aired all in one go apparently). I'm not too sure on this whole "TV-Shows that start in december are counted among winter season anime". I think it's generally a bit confusing because the seasons are overlapping a bit and people usually think of a 3 month runtime when a season is mentioned rather than of a start date. Just my two cents. |

It should be a show that has 0 rom-relationship as focus (like, let's say family or friends) |

Can I get some anime recommendations. Anything will do but would prefer if it was short. |

Thanks for the recommendation, but sadly I've already watched Senyuu. What I meant for the anime to be short is it to be under 13 episodes, but I'm fine with anything over it. |

"Watch an anime recommended to you by another Anime Watching Challenge participant" Can someone recommend a movie or a feature-length OVA from the 80's? Preferably not something that is widely known, critically acclaimed and still popular (like Ghibli films). [Bringing this up again 'cause I've started the second run.] |
