Improved animation and writing over previous seasons, without any earthquakes to ruin the long term storyline. Pokemon XY&Z was literally the best anime of 2016. The Team Flare arc was an emotional roller coaster. Characters died and inspirational things happened, I cried like an old lady. Really the animation is horrible, not to mention that the characters are bland and boring. The anime of Pokemon died years ago for me, just after block left so the end of the diamond and pearl series. Everyone has different opinions and it was great to hear someone else's opinion on this anime series but no way in hell coupe Pokemon XY and Z be best anime series of the year, have you watched anything this Year?? |

You're saying that to guy whose nickname used to be Ecchi_Hater? Sexual fanservice is the lowest form of pandering there is. SigmaOP said: I dropped Druaga no Tou: The Aegis of Uruk within 5 minutes. Because just the general aspect mixed with the characters, and also the fact that it seemed for kids turn me off. Bad mistake. The first episode is a parody of the fantasy/adventure genre... just not a very good one. It's like dropping Gintama during the first 2 episodes. Just skip them. |

| Dropped as in "this isn't for me so I don't think I'll continue watching it, but because it isn't for me I might watch it in the future", I'm thinking of PunchLine… I don't mind the visuals but because of its "psychedelic romp" feeling mixed with classic fanservice in the first episode, I left it alone after ten minutes-- and regardless of the genre I at least try and sit through the whole first episode. The plot itself was just kinda over my head at the moment but I do think it the comedy potential might draw me back… |

| Two that come to mind: Haiyoru! Nyaruani and Irregular at Magic Highschool. Haiyoru was so annoying I cut it off after only a few minutes. Irregular at Magic Highschool was very boring for an anime that featured incest and magic. |

Though the earliest I have ever dropped a show is probably dragon crisis that didn't even last a full episode length. I do realise I went against my own policy but hey, who can blame me for that? That's very broad minded of you to give 3-4 episodes. It speaks more to the quality of "Dragon Crisis" that you dropped it so quickly. I'll be avoiding that one. |

I couldn't get into it I didn't even want to watch it in the first place. My friend kept pestering me about borrowing her Ouran DVDs because she was convinced that I would like it, so I just took them to get her to be quiet about it Give it a try again in the future. I was undecided about for the first 3 or 4 episodes and then it really hit it's stride and I enjoyed it greatly from there on. But do that when and if you want to. I have never enjoyed a show that was pushed on me. |

The constant backtracking felt like too much like Naruto's story filler for me. I'm not going to say there was not aspects of the story I didn't find intriguing but the telling the story of 10 different people was a little too tiresome for me. Also I didn't find their story's gripping enough. |

Well it is based off an otome game. (I'm not sure how I managed to watch 3 seasons of it myself) I think the fastest I've ever 'dropped' something was either Gansta or Prince of Stride. I knew I wasn't going to enjoy them from episode 1, but I still made myself watch until ep3 in case they surprised me somehow. They didn't. |

| If we are talking episode count, it would be Monster Musume (4 episodes) because I realized it was a bit too much for me personally. Percentage wise it was Slam Dunk, 11/101 episodes for a total of about 10-11% episodes watched. The main character annoyed me, he wasn't even on the basketball team, and a real game hadn't even been played and I was already 1/10 of the way in. |

I don't think story or whatnot is even a subjectional issue, let alone a objectionable one. If we want to be nitpicky, It's the execution we might have a issue about, but even that's only a issue because all the other high end shoujos were made by much better studios, where amazingly Aishiteruze Baby was created by a POS studio(there's technically nothing wong with this anime at all, but when you compare it to Pierrot at the top of their game, the best anime Mad ever made, and Deen doing what Deen does best, Aishiteruze Baby just seems lacking, even though it really Isn't) Get in the mood, because Saiunkoku Monogatari is very good(especially the 1st season, the 2nd season is a mixed bag though) :) |
