Its just as the title says, I'm tend to keep the kitchen and dining table clean most of the time, but all my siblings just have to dirty it all again! Its fucking annoying tbh, though I know I can't do much about it. Can anyone relate? |

Ye, I can relate. Is it to much to ask for people not to move anything ever? I'm not even being facetious. |

Like after I clean the table, my brother just remembers that he was hungry and that he has to eat, so when I just say "Try not to spill anything please?" He will do just the opposite. Seriously, if they can't be helpful, at least don't increase the work for me |

Are they younger? Then you might have not taken the time to pacify them and make them obey to your authority early enough. Otherwise you could just order them to clean it or at least help you clean it. |

Two are older and four are younger, though one of them is just one year younger than me and apparently he's going through his adolescence phase now, so my mom doesn't let me scold him much and anyways he snaps back at me so men. Him and the eldest brother give me the most trouble, my younger sisters are somewhat obedient. |

And none of my siblings could bat an eye in the literal shit they live in. :/ |

Not just the kitchen, but everything. I swear, I clean and fix the couch, chair, everything, and an hour later it's chaos! *sigh* I eagerly await for the day where I can live alone. |
Apparently if I'm bored, I resort to social interaction for entertainment... I'm not sure what to feel about that. Also, I'm starting to hate my username so call me whatever. Literally. |

Uh? Why are your parents not reacting to that? If they don't want you to use authority on them, they should still do something about that since if they let do your siblings will behave worse and think they are allowed anything. Parenting done wrong. Also, why are you the only one cleaning ? It's not right at all. If nobody react to that, either use authority despite what your parents told you or you either tell them not to eat after you cleaned, fuck hunger. |

Ask your dad to talk to them like once and tell them to listen to what you say or they could get any punishment you want. I don't like arguments like that, and use of authority, but one does not anger me. As a teacher, I had to use some authority before. But even if it's annoying, you should do something to force them to obey you. You can talk to your older siblings, hopefully they'll be mature enough to listen to you. |

I don't like arguments like that, and use of authority, but one does not anger me. As a teacher, I had to use some authority before. But even if it's annoying, you should do something to force them to obey you. You can talk to your older siblings, hopefully they'll be mature enough to listen to you. Listen bro, my dad is usually very tired and even when I try to tell him, he brushes it off or just scolds them casually. Older siblings? My two older brothers give me the most trouble honestly. I'm the eldest daughter so naturally all these responsibilities fall on me. I scold them time to time but they o ly listen once and ignore me most of the time. Its hopeless they're not gonna get better and in the end when Im gone, they'll learn their lesson. Thank you for the support btw! Your best option is not cleaning at all. I mean, nobody's forcing you, right? Unfortunately I can't stand the filth, so I will just end up doing it. So partly my fault |

If nobody react to that, either use authority despite what your parents told you or you either tell them not to eat after you cleaned, fuck hunger. Well my dad doesn't really give a damn, he's a doctor so he doesn't pay much attention. My mom has just stopped saying anything mostly because she's too stressed with other stuff. Plus she's suffered a lot in her life so I try not to bother her. My authority doesn't work much now, the kids are in their rebellious age lol. Nothing I do seems to work. Its like I'm their second mother "Rebellious age" my ass, it's not excuse for them to do shit. Ask your dad to talk to them like once and tell them to listen to what you say or they could get any punishment you want. omg everytime!! I wanna live alone already ;-; Whenever I clean he kitchen, the bed, and especially my room, my younger bro has to come it, jump around on the bed for 15 mins, then take out my drawer, textbooks, normal books, and and make a frickin mess all over! Also noise....just why? And don't forget when you're trying to watch anime in peace, and then he comes in to make more noise. |

My sister is very messy, her room looks like you're wittnessing the Battle of Stalingrad. She does also make a mess on the toilet, in the kitchen and she even throws her close in my room. But I don't bother cleaning after her. She'll never learn otherwise. And by the way, she's 19 but mentally I think she's 12. Nyarlathothep said: I was suggesting an alternative, since finding a good husband material is so difficult =/ Haha, sorry for intruding since this is a little bit off topic. But I'll share you some wisdom, there's an old saying here that goes "if you can't get the one you love, you'll have to love the one you get" :P |
