| DongHua that can't be found on MAL can be mentioned here after you have submitted it to the database so that it won't be submitted twice, you can also tag Valoon so that he knows it has been submitted and can approve them when he has the time If for some reason you can't/don't want to do it yourself you can post it here the minimum information needed then are: -title -synopsis -airing dates -number of episodes -type -duration -genre here is are a few tips on finding this information -v.qq.com can be used to find the type usually when you go to the anime page it's type can be seen next to the title("TV" being the most obvious), -so.tv.sohu.com can be used to find air dates and total number of episodes. when a series was streamed on sohu the episode links usually contains the airingdate of that episode, while the number of episodes can be seen in on the anime page somewhere allong the lines of "共xx集" where xx is the total number of episodes - the duration can be found somewhere in the lines of "片长：xx 分钟" where xx is the duration in minutes - bilibili.com can be used to verify this information and sometimes find extra information not found on the other sites last but not least a few tips from valoon for finding genre: valoon said: -If the anime comes from an adaptation, we usually port the genres from that source material (i.e Manga, Light-Novel, etc) -If it's an original anime we try to to determine some genres from the info we have, like released synopsys, PVs, etc -We should also adjust genres while the new TV entry is airing to reflect its major genres (we should wait for several episodes to be released though, we don't need to adjust right away on the first episode, unless it's something that's missing and it's pretty obvious) And a good example of this is the post by Leknaat, why we shouldn't add too many tags: "That makes finding relevant anime through tags much easier. If you want anime, say about cars, you'll find "Initial D", but not the "JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken: Stardust Crusaders" just because it had a couple episodes with the car chases/races. JoJo is an action anime, but not the anime about cars. The current tags reflect that." If you follow this, your entry should generelly be approved faster :) oh and a tip from me do not ignore the genre field you'll regret it >.< finally another tip from valoon on common mistakes when submitting: valoon said: a common mistake I saw is that the same title is put in both synonyms and english title. English title should only be filled, if the anime is licensed or it's the official name given yb it's creators as it appears on the logo, official website etc. Most times they don't give an official name so just put it into synonyms, unless they have an official name :) Shiguang Guiyu is a good example, since the english name is on the logo, it should be filled in the english section, but synonyms should be left empty then. if you can't/don't want to find this information yourself just mention the title here the other members may be able to search for this information such as Castellano, EP1, yours truly and others, be sure to tag them(by writing their name with an @ in front of their name) so that they are notified If Donghua information is missing/ incorrect on MAL you can summit those modifications in this topic for moderator approval or in this topic your reading and well see what we can do :3 Disclaimer:the green links can be used for Anime information in general not just that of Donghua For adding character information you can use this link or you can reply in this topic |

The original series was 500 x 5 minutes long, and these segments have been adapted into various tv series, in which 3 segments + new op/end and eyecatches made each episode 20 minutes long. So should all of these have their own page or is it enough if i just mention them in the synopsis of the original series? Because i don't think these series made any new episodes, also probably not all the episodes from the original made it to those series, since some episodes appeared in more than one. |

So if you say there were 500 segments each 5 minutes long, and they were released e.g. online that would make it to an ONA with 500 episodes each 5 minutes long. That it got a tv reedit can be only mentioned than, a similar case right now is Momokuri. Also don't forget to provide some useful sources if you have :) |

I should release some more subbed episodesxD It depends on how it was released first. So if you say there were 500 segments each 5 minutes long, and they were released e.g. online that would make it to an ONA with 500 episodes each 5 minutes long. That it got a tv reedit can be only mentioned than, a similar case right now is Momokuri. Also don't forget to provide some useful sources if you have :) My sources? | It seems I've got harder time finding airdates for the Magic Eye franchise than expected, because all website states the premiere year only, (even that differs from site to site) but I didn't give up yet. ^^ @valoon For now i submitted 2 series: Feng Shu Zhan Jing 锋速战警 The Configurators Xingji Biaoche Wang 星际飙车王 Galaxy Racers My sources are baike baidu or youku.
