1 million matches in Brawl as well, lol. Thankfully the method for Brawl is faster, but it's still insane.

Also, I decided to play some Impossible Spell Card. Cleared every scene using items, but at this rate I'm not sure if I want to go back and clear them all without using items.

I also just did a few calculations for 6-8 hours, which shortens it down to over a year.
And the only way I could see someone doing this for long hours is by binge-watching while simultaneously pressing buttons on the Gamecube controller.
2-3 hours is my limit with anime watching before I get bored (unless it's a good series.).
You could use up 4 hours by marathoning on 12-13 episode series per day, but I dunno.

I'm at 18,000+ matches so far, but only because I was using the slow 'CPU Ness kills self on Jungle Japes' strat.

I think the 4 hour strat is possible, and I'm still able to do my other 100% runs.
2 hours in the afternoon and 2 hours in the evening.

Besides, Melee has been sitting on my 100% list for a while.

I've also got a possible 'overtime' day this week to break away the daily 4 hour formula.

Not exactly wasted, I think. I can always find ways to schedule the daily amount of 4 hours around the other parts of my life (appointments,etc.).
The process does get slightly sped up on the occasional 'overtime' day though, and I might as well get significant progress in before I get a job one day.

I'm a completionist too. I'm one of those that completed NG+7 SL1 no armor Dark Souls to prove I've mastered it. But whoever made that achievement that needs 2.800 hours to get it with the fastest method... that guy is insane.
