| I update my list immediately after finishing a show. You just spent hours watching something so how can you possibly not have a spare 30 seconds to update your list? |

| whenever i finish reading or watching something i update it right away, that's what the list is there for, to keep track of things it also helps that i used to leave a comment about the chapter and episode (now a bit less, depends how much i'm enjoying something), so updating the list was part of the reaction to the chapter/episode, it's pretty automatic |

| Consider the reason I have a list is so I can keep track of where I'm up to.... yh i update it. I get so pissed off when I see people asking for recommendations on the Recs subforum and in their topic post they list a fuck off massive list of anime and add like 'lol i cant b bothered to update my list', then they get salty and spam their topics 5 times a day when they don't get replies... Urgh. |
| I update pretty actively. I always leave a MAL tab open in my browser, so it's not like it takes much extra time. |
| I'm rather lazy when it comes to updating my list. Mostly because whenever I read manga or watch a series, I delve into it and intend to complete it and I just don't feel like adding that right away, it can wait. |

| i usually have mal open in a tab while i'm watching something, and as soon as i finish i update my list. it only takes a few seconds to do so and idk why people say they're "too lazy" |

| For airing shows I update after every episode I watch. For completed series I update if I don't think I'll watch more episodes in that session. |

| The purpose of MAL is to have a list. If I didn't update it, then I would probably forget most of what I've watched. My friend stopped using MAL a few years ago and always has trouble remembering the name of an anime or whether he even finished it. XD Some days he spends more time trying to recall anime than watching new stuff. I update my list so I don't have to remember everything I've completed/plan to watch. |

| I was once like you. I procrastinated it all and sometimes even wrote it on a piece of paper. After a while, I decided to get back on MAL and properly update my list, I had even more of a task on my hands. Lesson: Do not procrastinate but I still do it becuz fk everything else |

| Taiga takes care of things for me so it is updated constantly, however a few of my friends are lazy as hell and take forever to update (sometimes even an entire season to update their shows) 1 is semi-active and another just flat out refuses to make one because "it takes too much time to make it and add all my shows". The rest seem to update constantly as i do, and i do know a few use taiga as well so that helps. |
