| I think it's much more common that the child actually asks for a kiss on the mouth. It's after all quite common for children to want to marry their parents and kids often also want to kiss their parents. It's perfectly normal and innocent - when they get older and are told about it they'd either laugh or be embarrassed about it. When people talk about such things being "disturbing" here, it's usually projection that it "could actually somehow" be something that "stays for a lifetime" or that the parents who do it actually have "romantic or erotic feelings" for the kids. No, they don't. Neither do they children (they can't do so in the first place). It's nothing but deeply ingrained cultural views and perhaps "culture shock" for those who didn't experience it themselves. Sometimes it's also simply a lack of life experience. Note I am talking about Kindergarten age and younger here. |

| I have never seen this . . . I doubt it is "common". I mean kissing on the mouth probably constitutes as sexual harassment in the US or something similar, and seeing as how brutal family courts are with regards to the father I just wouldn't understand why a father would be stupid enough to do it.
