| Yeah, lecor, just make it a best OP and best ED topic. xD I'd say Baccano has the best OP, in terms of song AND sequence. I found my pants wet after I heard Baccano's OP for the first time, and the OP sequence is quite dynamic. I also love Nodame Cantabile's ED, Konna ni Chikaku de.... Yes it's sung by Crystal Kay (pretty much the best Jpop singer evar), so the song itself is nice, but the sequence is pretty neat too. I also like how the preview for the next episode is intertwined with the sequence instead of after it. As for others, I love the songs & the sequences of Aria's ED, Haruhi Suzumiya's ED, Lucky Star's OP, Hitohira's OP & ED, Ouran's OP, Potemayo's ED, School Rumble's ED, Zombie Loan's ED, Higurashi's OP, FMP's ED, and Dennou Coil's ED. |

School Rumble 1st season OP was great. The ska accompanied the mood of the series really well. Then I have no idea what the hell they were thinking with the second season OP... The second season's first ED was kinda...well...not good. o.O |

I usually go overboard, so consider this a warning XD Kenko Zenrakei Suiebu Umisho // DOLPHIN☆JET A lot say the anime is very decent and nothing special but I really love the opening. The full song turns out to be one of the highest plays in my playlist. Hayate no Gotoku! // Hayate no Gotoku! I just love everything about Hayate. From animation and hyper randomness to OST and theme songs. KOTOKO <3 Full Moon wo Sagashite // I ♥ U One of the most catchiest songs to me personally. There were days and months where I listen to the song at least once a day. Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu // Bouken Desho Desho? Naturally, this is a great opening loved by many. Can't argue with one of Aya's best selling records. Lucky ☆ Star // Motekke! Sailor Fuku It's either FTW or WTF, and for me it's FTW. 'nuff said. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann // Sora iro Days New to my "best" list. Everything about Gurren Lagnn is epic. More, which are as awesome but I don't have anything to say: CLANNAD // Megumeru ~cuckool mix 2007~ Shakugan no SHANA II // JOINT Strawberry Panic // Shoujo Meiro de Tsukamaete Gintama // Pray Minami-ke // Keikenchi Joshochu Rental Magica // Uchuu ni Saku Zero no Tsukaima // First Kiss I have even more list for endings probably so maybe in a separate thread? lol |

| In terms of animation, I'll have to say Higurashi no Naku koro Ni still takes it, I love the colours, and the atmosphere it builds is great. The animation of the first opening of Great Teacher Onizuka also fascinated me too, for some reason. And Onegai Teacher again, takes third place. All I can think of off the top of my head. | I'm too tired to research all OPs I've ever seen and measure them against each other, but lately Baccano! knocked my socks off. Definitely my favourite these days. Great music, animation, editing, montages, and that opening 30 seconds especially with Miria's naughty smirk behind the Santa outfit... Instant classic. |

| Tenjou tenge opening. It's not so much good as hypnotic, it's seriously the only reason I watched the whole series. I kept looking forward to the end of the episode so I could start the next episode and watch the opening again. The series really sucks though. |

| well now that we've established its animation and music...here are my favorite anime opening sequences Sayonara Zetsubou sensei Opening 1 -- im in love with this song and animation. i also like the other szs ops/endings. Ookiku Furikabutte Dramatic (op1). i get such a happy feeling watching this and i dont know why Kodomo no Omocha Ultra Relax- opening 2. so funny. macarena... lol Cowboy Bebop Tank (op) awesome Kare Kano Tenshi no yukibiri idunno, ireally like how they set it up Ouran high school host club Sakura kiss really just a memorable and fun animation Paradise Kiss Do you wanna ending. great ending sequence :) ef - tale of memories Europhic Field its gorgeous. | In terms of animation, Rozen Maiden Traumend OP hands down. I love the wierd shading and animation style they used in it <3 I looked forward to buying the DVD just so I could see the awesomeness in hi-def, but I didn't pre-order...;.; For a song, I'd have to say Hitomi no Naka no Meikyuu from Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito. It was the first Japanese song I was ever addicted to, and I still lurves it to death~ <3 Higurashi season 1 OP also owned for being generally creepy. |

| I really love the openings for Welcome to the NHK, Aria, and Baccano (though it was really annoying how they did the recaps mid song) And while I thought the music for GTO's first opening was only okay-ish, I found the sequence for it simply amazing--it just matched the show perfectly somehow. |

| Well, obviously, Bleach and Naruto are powerhouses for churning out good intros. It helps, in Bleach's case, that the show also gets some phenomenal music, and Naruto's always done an amazing job of turning a very mediocre song into a stirring intro. That in of itself could be it's own thread, though. There's been a couple intros I've really enjoyed from some of the shorter shows, though. My fave's prolly gotta be BECK. Beat Crusaders know how to make a catchy tune, and the animation just fits. As far as from of the more mainstream shows, Air Gear has to rank in (for it's commitment to the style of the show, and, let's face it, "Chain" was pretty catchy), and "Rewrite" from FMA (I know someone said it already, but it was good). Eureka Seven's intros were all like the show- incredibly animated, but the only song I really liked was the first one, "Days." The version of "Rhythm Emotion" from the last ep of G-Wing's also been a favorite of mine. And Death Note's last intro always cracked me up. Let's face it, though- greatest intro of all time: Big O. lol As for endings, I looove Gintama's second ending by amplified. The animation and style fit really well, not only with the show, but with the song. And the song's awesome. I also loved Zombie Loan's ending song, Chain Ring. TTGL's "Minna no Peace" was a fantastic song as well. Personally, I was always a fan of the first ending song from Outlaw Star, as well. Of course, Haruhi also makes the list as the most ridiculously catchy thing I've ever watched. And Gundam 00's first ending wasn't bad, either. |
