But most people just refer to it when they are thinking about anime "soft" porn. Like, not completely naked but still in an erotic/sexual posistion. |

I thought it would be a better idea if I posted this instead because if you look I also wanted to know of all the other terms I was likely to come across while watching and discussing anime. I figured it would be easier for people to understand more specifically what I meant by 'terms' if I gave the already listed examples. |

| These are other terms "Tsundere is a Japanese concept of a character archetype which describes a person with a conceited, irritable, and/or violent personality that suddenly becomes modest and loving when triggered by some sort of cause (such as being alone with someone). Tsundere is a board term thats used to describe female anime charcters most likely. Examples of Tsundere charcters: Shana - Shakugan no Shana Nagi - Hayate no Gotoku! Taiga - ToraDora! Misaka - To Aru Majutsu no Index Louise - Zero no Tsukaima Ayame - Asu no Yoichi Yuuhi - Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka Kyou - CLANNAD and more~ "Yandere is a Japanese term for a personality that is initially extremely loving and gentle, then at one point becomes deranged or psychotic, often brutally so. Yandere is a combination of the two words yanderu, meaning to be sick, and deredere, which is defined as exhausted or lovestruck." -wikipedia- once again I could not explain it in english better so this comes from wiki. Examlpes of yandere: Kaede - Shuffle! Kotonoha - School Days Lucy - Elfen Lied Nina - Code Geass and basically every heroine in Higurashi because they all did go psycho because of loving too much for who ever they did. Actually if Im not mistaken ( I think I am ) there are some male charcters that can be yandere too: Naruto - Naruto ( Attempted to rip Sasukes arms and legs so he wouldnt be able to go to Orochimaru) |

| Ecchi: Its pretty much the typical male-female relationship that is suitable for the ages of 12+ by Japan standards in most cases. Of course, there are cases where the ages are slightly higher like 15+. Harem: An anime in which the protagonist, male or female engage in a romantic relationship with numerous individuals of the opposite gender. Shounen-Ai: It is a term most people don't even use. It is more widely known as BL (Boys' Love) meaning the romantic relationship between two or more males. Shoujo-Ai: A term only used by foreigners to describe romantic feelings between one or more females. A more suitable term would be "yuri". However, many foreigners had mixed up the term "yuri" for 18+ animes which is not correct as that the term "yuri" is commonly used even among many 12+ animes. |

| Shounen-Ai is generally used for boyxboy relationships but not as explicit as what's found in yaoi. As far as I know shoujo-ai and yuri have the same relationship. |
