| I say that in terms of raw power the Rasengan is stronger, but in terms of different uses and effectiveness the Chidori is stronger because it paralyzes the body, can be part of the sword, extend its range enormously, and have so many other uses and abilities. |

| rasengan... because the chidori is a completed tech... the rasengan although it's a class s ranking tech is incomplete and there for adds to the already destructive power. but after doing a little bit more rewatching of the chidori and rasengan.... i've also concluded that the chidori is a class s tech as well seeing how sasuke advanced the chidori to take a blade shape in his battle w/ orchimaru... on a different note... i wonder if the rasengan can be thrown at a target... since the tech is pretty much a hurricane of charaka in the palm of your hand what happens when you let it go? |
| Rasengan for sure. I remember Kakashi explaining that rasengan has shape manipulation and chidori uses both shape and nature manipulation. Once Rasengan gets merged with the wind chakra it brings it onto a whole other plain from even the most advanced chidori technique. To the previous poster, while the advanced chidori techniques may seem powerful at the most would only be low s-rank but probably only an a-rank techniques. Keep in mind that the rasenshuriken causes so many attacks that even kakashi's sharinggan cannot even count the number of attacks caused, and on top of that it causes damage on a cellular level destroying the target's (and unfortunately the user's) chakra network. |
| Well, it's hard because for the Rasengan, there's a whole bunch of variations, but for the Chidori, it's easier to paralyze your opponent and then take them down, and Chidori was originally created by Kakashi, which means that you could morph it into a Raikiri, so my vote goes for Chidori |

Yea but the problem with the rasenshruiken is the backlash... if used to much... you should be unable to mold any more charaka meaning that you can't use nin or gen jutsu... |

| For power and finishing blow it would be Rasengan For strategies it would be Chidori Chidori in term of combat and strategies i would like to choose Chidori, since it has many variance kind of attack. it's a good and effectively skill for user to end the battle in his / her favor. ps/ power isn't everything, if you can't hit the target it would end up to be useless |
