vampire, monster, demon, alien, ghoul, ayakashi, anything that isn't human but is trying to live with humans keeping it a secret from people. i like the internal struggle so if the mc is not even bothered by the fact that someone might find out it's not for me. manga do the trick too so don't be hy to reccomend some manga.

Hmmmm what about a manga were a human lives in a world of monsters and he has to hide the fact that hes a human from them? if this sounds interesting check out CREPUSCULE (its still ongoing with over 180 chapters).

Also check out untouchable, its a romance manga about a vampire and human.

+1 on Crepescule
Densetsu no yuusha no densetsu - Ryner Lute (the MC) is an Alpha Stigma bearer and even thoguh he can't hide it (or doesn't really bother too) he's still not fully human living in a world where stigma bearers are persecuted and hunted.
Ao no Exorcist is an obvious one I think. Rin is the son of satan.
Baccano is about several immortals, there's no MC though
Durarara!! has a dullahan, saika, vampire etc, no real mc in the LN.
Hamatora - though they are in fact human there are minimums who posses special powers and are eventually shunned by people
Kiseijuu
SnK obviously
I'm not rude... I just wasn't taught to politely pretend to be nice to people I can't stand.

That's like saying a birthmark makes someone not human (or losing control in a fit of rage and destroying things isn't human or being extremely strong compared to most people isn't human).

Blood+
Date a Live
Spice and Wolf
Dance in the Vampire Bund (Technically)
Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan
Karin
Black Bullet
Shakugan no Shana (First 4-5 episodes qualify kind of)

I'd recommend editing the original post and making a list so you don't get the exact same anime recommended 2-4 more times *Cough* Parasyte (3 recommendations) *Cough*.

How about a manga where the MC doesn't really know what he is actually is, if you don't mind it then try Black Haze (it is still ongoing )

+1 Monogatari Series (Half Vampire, but actually just for the Immortal Perk so he can get beaten up by mentally challenged heroines over and over again, w/o dying. lol)

Kotoura-san. It's not action or anything, just a special mention. Cause I think it fits your needs. Check it out? :P

Edit:

Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (SoL?)
Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko (Inverted? Heroine tryna prove shes alien, but the dun beliv (SoL))

Haven't seen it recommended, but Zetman 100% fits your description. Have only seen the anime, but a lot of people say the anime is shit compared to the manga so I'd recommend the manga.
