| I think your enjoyment will be bigger if you start watching the 2012 version first, you'll understand why things are the way they are, certain characters will have more depth, and you'll appreciate mister Joestar more. |

| Sure, I started with Stardust Crusaders' manga and was fine. Though I didn't have much of a choice since I wasn't into reading online and Stardust was the only arc that I could buy. Since you can watch the whole series for free easily you probably should start with the prequel. |
