| Okay since Mr_Chang started to add character relations yesterday,I think we need a thread to discuss who should be added and who not(1 thread for each suggestion would be too much) .Post your suggestions in this thread and try to give reasons why they should be added.If you disagree with someone else,feel free to discuss but stay civil ;) PS:Please don't try to list the complete cast of Logh. Kong Wenge (Ping Pong the Animation) - Side characters are usually a lost cause and especially in 1 cour shows.But definetly not this guy.We learn about his ambition,his past,his feelings and fears,what he wants to achieve and why.All that in 11 episodes.He starts off as that new "I'm the best" guy,but quickly we learn what's behind all this.From his relation to his mother and his lost love for the game.He finds friends in Japan and is no longer an outsider.He accepts himself and finds happiness in playing Ping Pong again.A realistic and well developed character that needs to be added imo. |

It's no secret I disagree with Shinji. I don't agree with Shinji being as realistic and relatable as most people here think he is. If any character of Evangelion should be here, I'd definitely put Asuka, who I thought was a very well written character, a realistic tsundere and one who actually acted in a way I found believable. Even more so, she was a likeable character. Also, seeing Lala-Ru in razortongues list, I don't know who I prefer between her and Shu. Shu is an idealist idiot, like many anime main character. I usually hate those, but Shu is probably the best idealist idiot I've seen. But then again, it's impressive how well Lala-Ru is written even though she barely speaks throughout the series, and her judgement (and development of it) of humans is pretty interesting. |
