| I don't think Asseylum is good at ruling, understanding situations and her people, or even necessarily making the correct choices, but I wouldn't yet call her useless. She does stuff, and it has effects. |

| I think that enough hate has been directed at Asseylum, but it's safe to say that unless you're very into her type or are a dead-set protector of all female characters, she is uninteresting and not fit for the role she is supposed to fill. I don't even say underdevelopped, because you can't develop a one-note character. And by role, I mean that all the guys admire her supposedly for her great inner qualities, but what are those qualities? I don't see point in admiring convictions of a naive character. And her naivetee is dangerous for a lot of people because of her position. All in all I and many others, as it seems, can't see her as an ideal worth to die for. Therefore she is irritating. For me she is also boring visually. She always goes around in the same white dress. it's seriously annoying. With the wrong footing and the surprised face she always makes I find her design excessively saccharine. And her progression is one of the worst in the series famous for bad progressions. She has been out for two years and the majority of the second season, and it is not remedied well at all. Several episodes were spent on amnesia, which has long been conseidered bane of good writing. And in the first season she died three times, which is two times too many. As a result she is kind of a black hole, that eats at the script through the love geometrical figures. |

Slaine only encountered Inaho once in ep7 and there was no conflict other than a slight misunderstanding, and again in ep 12 Slaine shot Inaho. Slaine doesnt even know the guy much less mess with him. Shooting him to me counts as messing with him, he fucked with the superior man and needs to get what's coming to him. |
