| This episode seriously disappointed me. 15 minutes spent on Team Rocket filler, yet only half of the league battles are shown. Logic? |
| 1) Is this the first time team rocket called Ash by his actuall name? 2) When Ash was walking to the parade before Brock and Misty found him, didn't the pokemon sculptures lookd like a small reminder of Ash's adventures? I mean each pokemon was shown in another episode. That or I am imagining things. 3) You would thing the Pokemon League would be more organised. How couldn't they thought something about the pokeon centers being full? 4) Ash remains a terrible trainer. |

| The battles really suffer under Shudo despite when they DO appear they tend to be pretty good. The Team Rocket filler is good for the day-to-day, but for the League? I wish they'd do what they did in the first round, nothing but cheer on Satoshi or provide their opinions. More than that, I found how stupid they intentionally make Satoshi sometimes kinda irritating. In the last matchup, especially. He's like a brat whose hand you have to hold -- worse, it regresses his growth as a trainer by having Takeshi tell Satoshi how to battle against Windi in a now water field. That should be considered cheating and with how often Satoshi complains about unfairness, his opponent should have called him out on that for once. I just don't understand the reasoning behind having Takeshi and Kasumi fight his battle for him this late. |
